There are some solid strategies that can be learned from this book. Each chapter is a similar structure so it makes it easy to follow. Some of the directors chosen for the interviews have programs that a vast majority of teachers will never have due to lack of community support or resources.

This book doesn’t read as a “how-to” as much as it’s a collection of stories and anecdotes from top directors in the field. What works for them might be different for us, but there’s tons of inspiration, ideas, and I love that they share the scoop on relevant factors that need to be considered (schedule, student numbers, social-economics, etc) for context.

A great read for those looking to "think outside the box" of their own skills and concepts. An eye-opener for those that think all great/successful programs have the "ideal schedule"; almost every director involved herein had different situations.
