a very short read on imam al-nawawi's work on purification of the soul, tackling on fundamental elements of the deen such as sincerity, truthfulness etc. it also includes subtle marvels which stimulate remembrance of Him. i have to be honest that i might not be in the right headspace to absorb everything in this book ((maybe also bc puasa brain is real lmao)) so might probably have to give this a reread one day. 😬 i also found myself getting a little bit lost in the context, maybe due to the translation - i felt it was quite all over the place. 😅 anyways!! i really love short islamic books bc i could pick them up easily in between hectic work atm. not only they are short, but they can be so beneficial as well and somehow reading them makes me feel so calm in between breaks ☁️ but i also realize that some context are better explained in depth and i guess this is just one of it. there are so much topics to cover and just felt that it would be great if its more organized & concise overall. would probably makes a great addition, if you have been following iman al-nawawi's works 😄
