Rebels & Revenants: A Sirens Benefit Anthology

Rate this book
REBELS AND REVENANTS features the dead and the undead, ghosts both figurative and literal, Elder Gods and Egyptian queens, and, funny enough, more than a little rebellion. Most of all, these eleven stories have heart, with a strong sense of family threading through them, either the one you’re born to or the one you make.

REBELS AND REVENANTS will teach you that when you find your place, you better stake a claim and stand by it.

Natalie lives and works in Stockton, CA.

Words were her first love and she grew up finding new ways to put words together to tell stories. Known to occasionally commit random acts of poetry, Natalie primarily dabbles in worlds where magic exists, where vampires and shape-shifters share page time with gods and demons, and characters that are born inside her head find themselves struggling in a world made real through the magic of words.

Refusing to be confined to a single genre, Natalie's current works in progress span, and sometimes combine, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, urban fantasy and more.

Okay! You know how you pick up a compilation of short stories with a touch of trepidation? You know deep down in your gut that it’s a mistake because often short stories are really bad? Well, I’m here to tell you that was not the case with this collection!

You do however have to possess a love for dark stories oozing with macabre. Very few (okay maybe none) of these stories make sense. But that can be said of almost all fiction.

If you are looking for a most enjoyable Halloween / Horror book - this right here is the book for you!

Thank you Readers Coffeehouse (Facebook group) and author Cynthia Porter for affording me to opportunity to win this book. I look forward to reading more from each of these terrific authors!

As the editor (and one of the authors) of this collection of stories, I can highly recommend it to anyone who loves sci fi or fantasy or horror, and all of the crossroads that bring these genres together.

Great read, from start to finish.
