Coming back to writing's basic. As a foreign language learner and English instructor, I can see on this books the six principles we need for successful English communication, it is also advisable to develop logic order to work these skills properly especially when your mother tongue ,such as Spanish , is full of flowery expressions and terms.
These principles are : clarity, conciseness, directness, objectivity, simplicity and variety. Is it really what we meant to say? Is it clear for every reader or do we have to re- explain ourselves constantly. Besides here is where we see that it is not matter of quantity but quality, plain English is the basics for every type of writing, being direct and aiming at the right point, stepping aside our bias or own feelings from the text, avoid using unnecessary words or terms and trying not to be dull or insufficient .
