While I do remember this event, I was but a callow youth and it really didn't mean much to me at the time. I've since moved to CO near the Big Thompson Canyon and the descriptions taken from first person statements about the flash flood that killed >100 people in some pretty horrific ways make this slim volume worth perusing.
