A disappointing meeting… Mason longed to find his own mate someday. Being the only human living amongst a pack of wolf shifters made him wish for a fated mate like the rest of his family had. When his foster brother becomes mated to a dragon, the longing becomes unbearable. Then Mason met his mate… it was nothing like he’d hoped for. A risk he can’t take… Broderick knew loss all too well. During the war, it was the Stone dragons that fell the hardest. Two thousand years later, he still didn’t want to put his heart on the line again. The easiest thing to do would be to push his mate away. That way both their hearts would be spared. But when Mason has to stay with Broderick for his own protection, it’s hard to not fall for the human. Unfortunately, Broderick’s not the only one who realizes what a catch Mason is…
**** This is a short (25,000 words), sweet romance with a HEA. It contains mpreg and is the third of the Dragons Series.
Jena began writing in January of 2013 as a New Year's Resolution--and so far she has stuck to it!
She lives in Michigan. By day she works as a web developer, and at night she writes. Born and raised on a farm, she spends most of her free time outdoors, playing in the garden, or riding her horses. She also helps run the family dairy farm.
The author has upped her game with each of the books in this series, in each one her delivery of the story has improved. This one is definitely the best yet and will two more to go I can't wait to see how the overarching series plot will turn out. The ending of this one which I won't give away had me in major happy tears and I think Broderick and Mason are definitely my favorite couple of the series.
This was an engaging romance which focused on Broderick (stone dragon) and Mason, although it started out with major bumps in the road for both of them. The writing flowed nicely and the characters were very well developed. Mason handled his grumpy mate exquisitely, and riding on Broderick's back while in dragon form was my favorite part. I'll be patiently waiting for the next book in the series. =)
. . . É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . . Amei!

This one was better than the last one. At least I could figure out who was talking to make sense of what was going on. And the characters were more filled out and background given to round up everyone so far. I probably will read the next one to see what happens but I do wish someone would edit these for errors that just reading over would fix.
How is it that the dragon's enemies have managed to kidnap their mates three times in a row on the exact day they were about to go into labor? If somehow the missing amulet was letting them know I'll come back and change my rating. Otherwise it just seems like lack of creativity on the author's behalf. At least the ending was completely unpredictable.
I kinda hate that the big huge thing that mason would accomplish is that he birthed a girl dragon. And that this peter was some badass in all the other books and then bam he was defeated in one hand to hand combat. Otherwise the books was good. Just wasn't my favorite
This relationship started off rocky but, soon changed and Mason found himself with his Dragon. Peter, the vampire tries to kidnap Mason and make him his own and again Molpe is just out of grasp!
