Rate this book
The novel “Benazir” written in Turkish language by Yaşar Seyman, is in fact a tribute to the democratic struggle of the people of Pakistan. They struggled against the dictatorial regime and for the restoration of democracy and rule of law in the country, after the assassination of their beloved leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto by a military dictatorship. This struggle paved the way for the rise of the first Muslim female leadership in Pakistan.
The novel, “Benazir” written by Yaşar Seyman is a truly magnificent expression of the mutual friendship between Pakistan and Turkey. This novel is undoubtedly an unbelievable demonstration of love between the two nations belonging to two different countries and two different cultures.
