I didn't like how Lyric was doing Dereon. He may have been blind to see that she was in love with him but even after finding out. What made him think that all would be back to normal. I love the rules she set for him to not violate. I'm sorry but it's no coming from that once she revealed her true feelings for him. I want to know more about Jay. I feel the story was missing something about him. A man that gets that upset about a man putting their hands on a woman, it's a story behind that. That was some pent up anger he laid on Julian. Even though he deserved it. There's a part 2. How long will that take? I want Jay and Dereon to have a happy ending. They deserve one another. Or she needs to buy her a plane ticket and claim her man. I know I would. She could just watch from the side lines as Jay fulfill his singing career.

I feel so sorry for Dereon and the men that she keeps choosing to love hurting her and breaking her heart. First she catches her ex Julian cheating on her a second time after she agreed to give him another chance. Then Dereon is in love with her best friend/employer Lyric who doesn't feel the same about her. She tells him how she feels only for him to reject her for his money grubbing ex named Veronica. Lastly she falls for another artist/singer named Javion who is about to go on tour out of the country for over a year. Dereon just can't catch any breaks. I hope she finds true love in the next book and that she doesn't end up a rebound when things fall through with Lyric and Veronica. I hope that she doesn't end up pregnant by Javion either. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Can she get a break?
I was hoping that De was about to get her HEA, but then a fantastic opportunity comes knocking for her boo, and bam, more heartbreak. I loved them together. He is hot as all get out, just what her body, mind and soul needs. I'm about to download part II since I've already read this straight through in one sitting. Glad I'm off today.

Great book!
I am such a crybaby lol. The end was a real tear jerker. But the book itself is was amazing. I give it 5 stars. Can’t wait to read part 2.
