About the author

“Zack Zombie” is the pen name for the writing team of William Peña and his son Matthew Peña.

I read this to my son, who hasn't really played Minecraft, but seems to like the appeal of it. I found this to be just as silly as the first. My son enjoyed the zombies and skeleton references. It's easy to read, but doesn't really add to anything.

This book is about when they creep up on Spring break, they decide to go to a monster park and they want to go onto a dangerous roller coaster but he has a little brother so he has to stay in the kiddy side and he sees one of his other friends so they hang out for a while then the next day they come back and they hang out again. (I loved this book and my old teacher from Eau Clair gave this to me for free I love it so much and I cried when I saw it my brother used to work as a janitor there and we would help sometimes. That's how we got this book and saw them again.)

I liked this book because Zack went to an amusement park in the jungle biome. When Zack's mom ruined Zacks plan by going to Zombie Kiddieland, Creepy was there. They had a little fun. The next day, they went to the haunted house and boy it was scary...

This was a step up from the second book and even ended in a cliff hanger. I also rather liked the zombie's relationship with his parents in this one.

Luke gives it five stars. He liked seeing the main character and friends go exploring with Steve.
