Another great installment

I'm really enjoying this series. There are continual twists and turns, gains and losses, unexpected events and the like. You certainly can't claim anything in here is predictable.

Christian Kallias’ Universe in Flames is an incredible ride and it’s great that he combined all ten books into three trilogy collections. This is the third and last of them, though it’s only a trilogy if you ignore that Into the Fire was published as two different books, parts I and II. Anyone who is up for some fun with Greek and Norse Gods, Magic, mythology and Sci Fi will find this somehow blended together into a surprisingly good fit in this collection of stories. Each of the tales, Armageddon Unleashed, Twilight of the Gods & Into the Fire (part I & II) has a great plot with the fantastic characters and strong writing. The world-building (universe-building) with its Tanak’Vor (aka, Spectre), Droxians and Gaia’s is superb. The conclusion at the end of book 10 (part II)? It’s not just a simple bang but rather it will be a nuclear bomber sized explosive bang. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the collection definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the collection is most definitely one to read (though I’d read the prior trilogy collections first), and it is easy to highly recommend.

Book 7 - Not as good as the first 6 books. A lot of problems present without any resolution.
Book 8 - Great comeback - Action packed thriller make it hard to put down. I would recommend it to everyone.
Book 9 - Great book in the series - I would recommend this book to anyone interest in Space Opera with a twist. Great twist in this volume.
Book 10 - Great series - I loved it. Plenty of action and adventure, great characters, takes you from tender moments to heartbreak. Well written! I will miss Chase, Sarah and the other wonderful characters.

The conclusion of a great series
This anthology completes the Universe in Flames book set. We have followed Chase from being a pilot through to being the Admiral. This concluding set of books will leave you wanting more of this authors books.

Lots of action and some twists to keep things interesting, makes this a fast read even if it is a long book set.

I received a free copy of this book.

Great series

The characters and action are first rate. It continues the really imaginative theme of ancient gods and their role in the universe. I’ve read science fiction for 70 years and would compare the work to Asimov’s Foundation series. Well done!

difficult reading

I struggled to read this series. There were so many plots going on at the same time. I wondered if the author was just trying to justify a contract for so many words. I finally finished it but I don’t know yet if I’m going to continue to the next series.
