Gina Bansal and Ojas Purohit hostile and completely opposed forces of Nature! Were they always, Miss Matched?
In ‘A Hasty Hookup’, readers met Ojas and Gina - an estranged husband and wife, utterly belligerent to each other.
Miss Matched is the book 2 in the Wallflower Series. Meet Gina and Ojas as they meet each other for the first time.
Gina Bansal, a shy young woman, who with the help of her close friends, her ‘Wallflowers’ has successfully avoided the trap of ‘arranged marriage’ her parent’s have laid out for her sixteen times already. Will number seventeen be the one?
Ojas Purohit, a handsome, daredevil young army officer who does not believe in anything ‘arranged’ yet falls in love with a mere picture of a beautiful young woman.
A little cloak and dagger, a pretense leads to a lot more than Gina and Ojas had bargained for. Amongst misunderstandings, silly fights, sweet camaraderie, heartfelt confessions and heated kisses, Gina and Ojas unite, become one.
But fate has some other plans for them. Or is it simply the poor choices Gina and Ojas made? What kind of tragedy destroyed a love so strong?
‘Miss Matched’ is the second book in Gina and Ojas’s story. It is a story of love, it is a story of pain - of unexpected twists, sizzling chemistry, cliffhanger ending, mature language and content.
Varsha Dixit, the best selling author of four successful contemporary romance books. Her debut book, Right Fit Wrong Shoe was a national bestseller for the year 2010. Varsha was a part of the Indian Television Industry and worked as an assistant director and online editor. She considers herself a dreamer who thinks deep but writes light. Even though creativity is gender free,Varsha feels blessed and enriched to be a woman.Currently, with her family, Varsha resides in CA, USA.
If u have read Varsha's book one will know that you can't read one page/chapter and come back later. Once you start you just can't put it down till you finish. Same is the case with Miss Matched, one just can't put it aside until you reach the end.
Miss Matched is the second part of Ojas and Gina story, First being A Hasty Hookup. My first question to the author is, why she broke up Ojas and Gina's story into three books and not like the story of each couple per book like her right wrong series? Because the suspense and wait are really unbearable.
As usual loved reading the fast-paced story with the focus on friendship and relationship also humor, which are the real protagonists of Varsha's stories.
Miss matched is definitely a must-read for one and all as it is full of love, romance, humor and not to forget one hot male protagonist Ojas who is every girl's dream's prince charming.
I am writing this review for both 'A hasty hookup' and 'Miss Matched' here. If you haven't read A Hasty Hookup, you may not be able to follow this book. Miss Matched is a beautiful love story of Ojas - the handsome, army man and Gina - a cute, little girl next door.. As a person who loves to read romance, I finished this book in one sitting and enjoyed the sweet little nothings a lot. Just as I began to enjoy the breezy romance, Varsha brings in a quick succession of events that leaves the reader reeling and provides a lot of answers for the questions that came out in the first book.
The narration is simple, the language lucid, and the tale gripping. As a reader you'd definitely want to know what happens next - for which you'd have to wait for the final part of Ojas' and Gina's story. Aside from the small con that I hate cliff hangers, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Needless to say, I'm waiting to devour the next part of this series!
Miss Matched" by Varsha Dixit had the potential to be a captivating read, but unfortunately, it failed to live up to its promise. The book suffered from a dragging narrative that left me struggling to maintain interest. The plot, though initially intriguing, quickly lost its momentum as the story meandered through unnecessary details and overly prolonged scenes.
Ms. Dixit's writing style and her books Rightfully Wrong and Wrongfully right, Wrong means and right end captivated me immensely and i kept re-reading them on a dreary day. I had the same expectations from her on Gina's story but sadly it didnt work out for me.
I admit I was frustrated with Ojas and Gina throughout most of their story. But it kept me going. I had to find out what would happen next. I cannot wait for the next installment. I have to know what happens to them and if (how) they will find their way back to each other. Will they be able to forgive each other? I sure hope so.
One word that can do justice to this book is awesome.... The story was so captivating that I couldn't stop reading.... I had to know what happens next.... And now I can't wait for the next book so that I get to know how Jina and Ojas find their way back to each other.... And I also hope we soon get to read the other Wallflower's stories!!!!!
Loved the way Varsha Dixit narrated the love story of Ojas Purohit & Gina Bansal. The only reason why I read this book is their reason for separation and the gravity of the actual situation which is very much reasonable. Eagerly waiting to complete the reading of 3rd part Ex-Factor. The bonding between The wallflowers is so good. I liked the character of Meher.
One word for the complete experience Awesome. Superb story and well etched characters. Once I tuned into the book I could only stop when the story paused I laughed with the wallflowers, empathized with the parents and cried with Gina and Ojas. And now I'm here waiting for the next part
I love to read Gina and Ojas's story. Every time I read I just fall more deeply in love with author Varsha Dixit's way of expressing emotions, easy going and friendly banter, humor and the twists. Fun, excitement, devastation, love and many more emotions shown very sweetly they I just can't stop reading the book until 'The End' of the book. Pick the series for a sweet story with Friendship love and family emotions.
I always get upset by the cliffhangers. How i wish 2019 was a second ahead but it isn't. I want to read more and preferably no more cliffhangers in the next. Loved this book but eagerly waiting for the next one.
