The Artifact

There is an enchanted world beyond time and space where things are very different, a place where life is simple, but it can be dangerous. It is full of strange creatures, mystic happenings, and death. In this world there is a realm for a race of people called Immortals. They have through some unknown force passed for mortal life to immortal life. They have followings on earth plain, people that have chosen to follow their life path. To these mortals they grant special powers and abilities and find great pleasure in them when they follow their guidance, intervening in the natural flow of thing on occasions to lend a helping hand. These are not gods, but have an elevated type of existence and dwell in parallel dimension that allows them to interact in the affairs of mortals. There is but one true god and he is “Ahwah,” the creator of all things in this world that has life in it. All life proceeds from him and he holds it in the power of his might. He is worshiped and loved by his people and his clerics are sought after for their healing ability and their many life force gifts. There are temples everywhere dedicated to Immortals and these are simply places to come together and talk about the ways of the patron and to talk to them. Immortals are not worshiped as is Ahwah, creator God, yet those that follow them seek their help and guidance. If you come along with me on this journey, be prepared for anything and gird your mind with this thought, “It is not life as you know it.”
