No good deed goes unpunished, or at least it doesn’t for Cassie Decker. Helping someone on the side of the road changed her life—and left her stranded on an alien planet. Lucky for her, two large, green rescuers offer her a second chance at a new life. Now all she has to do is find the courage to reach out and grab it.

Officers Deryc and Gage have a comfortable life on the island of Ilya. It may not be perfect, but they enjoy their work and they have each other. When fate reveals an unauthorized female has been hiding right under their noses, they know they must do their duty—but can they hand her over to an unknown future when she just might be the perfect female for their clan?

The Goddess works in mysterious ways, but will Cassie and her officers realize what they have found before someone tries to alter their paths forever?

I live in British Columbia, Canada; I have all my life. I went to culinary school and studied Pastry Arts, working as a Pastry Chef in Vancouver for five years. But the commute into the city got to me and I had to change careers back to an office. I still work full time; I now work for a sporting goods wholesaler in accounting…which is where my twitchy creative side began to get restless…and as my Baba used to say, “Idle hands are the Devils playthings.” Or in my case, idle hands get me into all sorts of trouble; so I go a little bananas on the hobby side of things. I still love to cook and bake, I do a large amount of recipe creating and the boys at work certainly appreciate being sacrificed as taste testers. I am also a stress knitter, to the point that I had to open my own Etsy shop to unload some of the scarves I make. Realistically there’re only so many scarves a gal can make and keep for herself before people start to judge you…. I also paint when the muse hits me, mostly abstract in acrylics. I love to garden and grow things, have a weakness for all animals, and an un-natural obsession for making jam. I literally made 24 different kinds of jam last summer, it’s a bit of a problem….but there’s just so many different kinds you can create! Who am I to say no to see what Tiger’s Blood jam would taste like? (it’s strawberry, watermelon and coconut by the way….and it was AMAZEBALLS.)
I’ve always had a love of reading, science fiction and paranormal genres have always fascinated me, so once I found myself addicted to romance novels it really only made sense that the sci fi romance genre drew me like a moth to a flame. I only started writing about a year ago, it took me a long time to get Sarah’s Crew to the point where I would let someone else read what I was writing, let alone send it into a publisher. But eventually I did and after one fairly nice rejection I moved on and found Siren. I’ve been so impressed at how supportive and helpful all the other Siren authors have been through this entire process, I’m a little on the shy side so the social media and marketing part of the writing process has been intimidating to say the least. My goal is to keep working on my writing skills and to hopefully improve with each book, and I hope that anyone who reads them enjoys the world that I’m trying to create!

Cassie, man she was strong, been through so much in her life and then she gets abducted by nasty rotten aliens!!! I woulda freaked out and had a total meltdown, doubt I could have made a home on another planet, but it sure sounds like a good idea some days!! I think Dax was a big part of it all, he was a great addition to the story but then she meets Deryc and Gage, Officers of the Law who never expected to meet such an enchanting illegal alien!! Loved watching this all play out, was on edge waiting to see what happened to Cassie!!

This story was just right, emotion ranging from humor to sexy to some OMG moments.

Only complaint I have is the tease for book 3, it left me wanting MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!!!

4.5 star: (review request submitted by the author for an honest critique)

Hidden Cargo is an erotic sci-fi tale revolving around the budding romance between a human female and two alien counterparts. Unlike other aliens Cassie (human) met, the two men she fell in love with (Deryc and Gage) didn’t have 4 arms (species: Kakxis) or 6 legs (species: Gooshoo).

Deryc and Gage’s skin coloring was more charcoal and pewter. Luckily for her and us, they didn’t have shark-like teeth or snake eyes (like her first abductors) because, if so, I don’t think the intimate scenes would’ve been as steamy.

Sarah chose the right partners for Cassie and for us readers.

Now in regards to the intimate scenes, which were plenty: Let me first state, if you have read any of Sarah Marsh’s stories before, you already know her love scenes are never dull. Sarah delivered erotic moments involving M/M, M/F, and M/M/F. There was an act of voyeurism, oral gratification, anal pleasure and mé·nage à trois. In case readers of my review are wondering… YES, each sexy encounter was more arousing than the last.

Even without those explicit scenes, I found this novella very entertaining to read. Of course, I wouldn’t dare ask Sarah to omit a single sexy moment. When these three get together, in pairs or in a threesome, it was kinky as hell.

For dog lovers out there, Cassie had a companion named Dax (German Shepherd) who literally came to her rescue. I fell in love with this furry character and I’m a cat person. 😀

My final thought…… Everyone should and must read Hidden Cargo!

Another awesome story from Sarah Marsh. Everything clicked in this book for me. The characters, the storyline, everything. Cassie is a woman who can definitely take care of herself but when she finds herself with two aliens, feelings and emotions get in the way. Can Deryc and Gage keep her safe? And what happens when she is found to be an illegal? I highly recommend this book!!! It's really good.

I LOVED Hidden Cargo by Sarah Marsh! The different aliens and their descriptions made for fun reading, as did the different personalities. The world building is imaginative and creative. The love scenes are erotic and emotional, and I really loved how these three came together especially given the fact that while Gage was open to having a third partner, Deryc was not as sure, so seeing how perfect they were together when the time came was just awesome! If you love erotic science fiction then I happily recommend Hidden Cargo!

Oh! The tension builds until everyone, reader included, is set to explode.

Cassie is kidnapped from earth along with some puppies and taken to an alien planet.

Deryc and Gage are a couple of intergalactic cops, and lovers.

Cassie's protectors are a husband and wife team who have introduced Cassi as their assistant so as to keep her actual nationality hidden.

When Deryc and Gage are brought in to investigate the possible human, whom they have both had their eyes on, life gets interesting as they all are surprised by the others' attitudes and willingness to try.

Great short story that will have you riding your seat...ahem!....
