Haber Cove is infested with flesh-eating, ankle-biting Jack-a-lopes, and a pack of large black Hell Hounds. Will all hell break loose when he finds who let the dogs out? Or will Pepper turn out to be the one woman who can tame the savage Aussie hunter?

I loved it!

If you're looking for a super-fun humorous paranormal romance set at Halloween you'll love LIGHT UNTAMED by Bonnie Gill because this book has all the feels. A little spooky, hilarious paranormal characters, and a fated romance that's meant to be, this book satisfied all those things.

I've been looking forward to Ottar and Pepper's story since the first book in the LAMPS series came out. Gill has a knack for humorous paranormal creatures and the humans who cross paths with them.

Someone's been murdered in Haber Cove, New Jersey, and it doesn't look like the culprit is human. Ottar is called on the scene to hunt down a herd of Jackalopes, mythical creatures known as Cryptids. But what he uncovers along the way mounts to a conspiracy of epic proportions.

And dealing with Pepper, the girl he can't get out of his system, and her family secrets leads Ottar on a wild ride to say the least. Their romance made me smile. You know they have to get together, but there's so many obstacles in their way the tension makes you worry, and kept me turning pages.

Pepper has a family secret to guard, and keeping this one from Ottar takes some serious ingenuity. I loved her spunk, and her kindness to all the animals in this cast. Her quirky ways become Ottar's strength in the end. He's one lucky Aussie to have found her.

I loved the paranormal twists in this book - I mean, hellhounds? They were my favorite creatures in this story! The LAMPS books are full of those mythical creatures we all wonder about, and the people who have to deal with them.

I recommend this whole series if you love paranormal romance.

OMG, this one was just as hilarious as the first one. Granted, we didn't have a tampon genie, but we had a similar event. And the hellhounds, they sound so cute, I want one so bad. Think LAMPS will give me one? I'll keep it safe, promise. You will catch yourself laughing at some of the antics Abby and Pepper get up to. And the antics of the hellhounds is just too much. I can't wait to see who is the next story. Maybe Holly or Vulture? If you want something light, I would definitely recommend this book.

This series rapidly became one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series of all time. While each book is tied together, each is also extremely unique and fun in it’s own way. I love the L.A.M.P.S world that Bonnie Gill has created.

I’ve been impatiently waiting for a story about Ottar. He is one of my favorite characters and I was happy to see he finally gets his own. He’s a crazy character for sure, but loveable at the same time. His personality is so vastly different from Pepper that it felt like the only place that would truly appreciate this match up would be Haber Cove.

Gill does an amazing job of taking old legends and adding a modern and crazy twist to them. She’s able to keep the bones of the legends enough that we still recognize them, but doesn’t distort them so much they feel wrong.

Overall, I love this book. I was cracking up the whole time. Definitely a must read series.

Light Untamed is the third book in the Legend and Myth Police Squad Series. Tempting The Light and Pursuing the Light are the first books in the series, following other couples in the series. Light Untamed focuses on Pepper Peterson. Pepper finds herself as the latest caretaker of the hellhounds: cute, little balls of fluff that can change shape and size at will and fart flames. When the hellhounds decide to go rogue for more than their designated night on the town, it's up to Pepper to reel them back in. Added to that, that pesky L.A.M.P. agent Ottar is hanging around. Oh, and someone is trying to kill Pepper.
