My friend practically forced me to read this book which I read with a good slice of scepticism, not even sure whether it is meant to be tongue-in-cheek. But I could not get the concepts out of my mind and I have now read it a second and a third time. Whether this guy really does speak to our gods is almost beside the point as I have never read such a coherent and seductive account of how and why we exist, seemingly more plausible than all that our religions and science purport and, whether true or not, it certainly makes you think, about answers for once, not just questions.
