The Daughter of Beaston is hurting. Remington Novak is stuck in a city, her whole life altered for a man who didn’t keep her. A life change comes in many forms, but for Remi, it comes as a newspaper clipping, sent by her best friend. A Last Chance Crew up in the mountains is looking for help, and her skillset matches the requirements. Must like animals? She was a grizzly shifter. Must be okay with crass jokes? She was raised a Grey Back in one of the roughest Crews in existence. She could surely handle a few rowdy boys. When she shows up for the interview though, it’s clear she’s made a grave mistake. Kamp demands her inner bear’s attention immediately, but he’s dangerous to her body and soul. Something’s wrong with that lion shifter, and the more she tries to figure him out, the deeper she falls into a dangerous admiration for him and these mountains he’s claiming as home.

Kamp is out of options. His days are numbered in his Crew, his lion needs to be put down, and every day looks just the same. Wake up, fight the Alpha, fail at his job, sleep, repeat. He’s lost too much to recover, but one look at the fiery-eyed beauty, and this lion shifter lumberjack aching to change his destiny. It might already be too late, but now every day is worth fighting for just to see the growing smile on Remi’s face.

Two damaged shifters, one fate, one helluva mountain to climb to get this Crew to C-Team status. No one could’ve got him living again, but maybe…just maybe…the Novak Grizzly can save him.

Content Warning: Explicit love scenes, naughty language, and piles of sexy shifter secrets. Intended for mature audiences.

I love this woman's writing. I've loved everything she's done. This is not any different but there is a BUT coming. This felt different and I dont mean her style or anything. The story. It didnt feel as full as her others but perhaps its because its a new series and she's doing something different. It felt kinda small and there was no real conflict and maybe thats what I am used to. This felt more like a meet and greet to the crew more than anything but we got a little taste. I also thought Kamp's problem seemed kind of small. I really loved Remington though. Beaston's daughter? Hell yeah! We get some surprises at the end and I just loved that part. Loved it! Was I disappointed? Ohhh a little bit but she still made me cry. Whenever Beaston is apart of something in whatever form...I cry because he's my favorite and I LOUVE him. Like in love! :) I cant wait to see what comes next.

Ok read

Not my fave by this author but a decent read. I did not feel the pull between the main characters. I also kept mixing everyone up.

Lets make this simple, if you've read any of the previous series...going back to Damon's Mountain than this book is a MUST read.
We're going back, but not quite...it's a new beginning in so many ways and the ride continues as we see how the lives of the children of our first loves find their way. This is of course book 1 in this new series but Wow. What an amazing start.

I am fighting hard not to gush and go on and on about parts of the book, but it's not my way to spoil. That being said, the emotional journey of our two main characters as well as getting to know this new crew...well there is something somehow special about them all. They tug at the heart strings in a somehow non-gushy way.

T.S. Joyce gives us another amazing shifter romance book. There's no downsides or disappointments. The length is a great one, the only hang up is I'm longing for the next book but am highly tempted to read this one again. You feel for the characters, and get a glimpse into where this new crew will go but like every crew, the best ones aren't A-Teams or B-Teams...it's the C-Teams that we love the most and end up being the best crew ever. I'm very excited to see the future of this new crew, the future of the other kids we haven't met yet, but also of what amazing adventures this mountain has yet to be seen.

I beyond recommend this book to any T.S. Joyce fan but also any shifter fan, but you can't really explain how amazing this book is unless you go back to the beginning...MANY series ago. (They're all worth it for me. Never gave any book less than it deserves and with these shifters they earn EVERY star)

This new crew is a hot mess to say the least. Remi was up to the task of whipping them into shape, while letting her get back the person that she lost. I liked how a couple of people from past books played in, the role they had. By the end of the book I had hope that this crew will pull it together, it may take a while, but they have potential.

Last chance crew

Remi goes to the last chance crew in the mountains after her ex breaks up with her. This book has a little of everything. Laugh out loud moments as well as oh my gosh, and lets not forget aww.

Remi is determined to get Kamp, Rhett, and Grim/Reaper under control to get the logging on track. She get more than she bargained for when she comes out with a mate.

Loved the h is this book, she is strong and does the right thing. She sees the hurt in the H and once she finds out, she takes action to help him. She's her father's daughter except she makes more sense. The H is also great, he's kind to her and when the get together it is magic. Loved it.

Woot woot! We've got more of the daughters of the various "C-Team" crews coming to light. I am so addicted to T.S Joyce's shifter universe and this is like adding the maraschino cherries on top of an already awesome cupcake. Really enjoyed the first of series and can't wait to see more of the girls.

I feel like we're coming round full circle creeping back into past characters and now it's their babies stories!!!!!. It doesn't seem so long ago I read Beaston's story and fell in love with his journey to salvation.

Remington Novak is everything I'd expect from the daughter of Beaston. She's a tough cookie who had a knock in life but still didn't loose her spirit.. she just needed a nudge from daddoh in the right direction is all.

Kamp is a sick lion. Not the ill kind of sick.. the tortured soul kind. Despite his broken and beneath all the hurt he's so freaking sweet in his own way he just needed a Novak to heal.

That familiarity we get with the land. The easy connection to the characters and that emotion that pours from the pages is just so spot on. I love this new bunch of dysfunctional looneys. The easy banter, the chemistry and even those heartbreaking realities all just fit perfectly in this crazy world. I'm always left wanting more and craving my next hit.

What I love most is the reappearance of 1010!!! Not just because its been there from the beginning but also because it actually means something so special to the author. I love that she's putting a big piece of herself in her stories in way that we as readers can share it with her.

I'm yet to be let down, it's just so much goodness. I cannot wait for Rhett's story because I just know there is more that meets the eye with that watcher. Obviously it goes without saying that I'm pinning for Grim! Lord knows I love a broken fucked up hero.

I was so damn ECSTATIC to see the email about this book!

I bought it immediately and settled in to read later that night before bed. It was absolutely wonderful come come back to this world; I never thought we'd see these characters again when T.S. Joyce started writing the last couple trilogies. Onward to the details!

3.5 stars

I really liked Remington and the reality of her situation, women often change themselves to keep the man they love interested until they don't recognize the woman they see in the mirror. It was good that she broke away but I know it doesn't occur quite so easily with many. I really liked her strength and the willingness to brawl without a thought; definitely a Greyback.

Kamp was an interesting character, though I thought his problem was a little too easily appeased, if not solved. He was attentive in his own way, honest, and totally worth it I'm on the fence about the other two in this "last chance" crew but we'll see how it goes.

I was a little disappointed with this book, it felt a little short and "thin" compared to some of the others but I think part of that is because I was simply too over-excited and my expectations were waaaayyyyy too high. I'm definitely looking forward to more, thank you for bringing them back!

The girls are finally here.

It's time to go back to Damiens mounts except this time we are going with the girls. This is so exciting!! We are starting off with Remi Novak on my gosh the beasts daughter. We find Remi in the city heart broken and alone. She's just been dumped by her boyfriend. When her bestie tells her of a crew looking for members she's sceptical who wouldn't be, but when she gets a message from her dad telling her to go well she goes. Kamp is a bad A lion shifter who's been thrown into a last chance crew. He's lost everything and is broken beyond compare. Well that is until Remi shows up. Remi decided that they ain't broken just a little bent and she's gonna fix them the mountain is never gonna be the same. I absolutely love this series. I can't wait till the next book!!!

This was quick short story. Same setup as a lot of this authors books. There is a crew of shifter lumberjacks in the mountains and the heroine goes there for a job. She finds a last chance lion shifter crew that is an absolute mess. All of them have their own problems and none of them are working together.

The Hero is sad and angry and is just trying to die in one of the many fights he has with the Alpha. But when he meets Remington Novak he flares to life again and begins to want to live again.

Remy Novak is actually the daughter to Beaston Novak, and I read his book last year I think. I didn’t realize this was their daughters story until Her mom being a raven(? some sort of bird) was mentioned.

I read this super fast and really enjoyed it.

Contents is meant for adult readers.
I loved the original crews from Damon's Mountains, and I am super excited to read about their children. Joyce does "broken" so well. I liked these books because the pain of these shifters comes through the written words. I like the family feel of the stories. I think these are really great books, well written, well edited, wonderful characters. Can't go wrong reading T.S. Joyce.

*********** Rogue Pride - Kamp & Remi ***********

OMG!!! NEW SERIES TO LOVE!!!!!
Y'all, Alpha did it again! We have a New Crew and a new place! There's lions, bears, and a dragon...
Meet Remington Novak - Remi to her friends, a badass silver back bear.
Kamp is one of three lions in a Last Chance pride/crew. These guys barely tolerate each other.
Remi decides to make them a crew, IF she can keep them from killing each other.
There's a LOT of laughs, some tears, and a love of a lifetime. C**k flea is a new favorite word.

Wow

This was a little bit heartbreaking. But it was heartbreakingly beautiful. I love the complexity I’m seeing in the characters. My curiosity is off the charts piqued wanting to know about Grim. But this was just another amazing book! Plus Beaston was there! Xoxo I can go on and on about how amazing the Hero and heroine are..... or you can read it for yourself and see.

This was a cute start to the series. I love that Beaston made an appearance. Remi and Kamp are such an adorable couple and Raider is a little cutie. Rhett is hilarious and I'm slightly obsessed with Grim.

Coming Home!

It feels so good to be back with the crew. I absolutely love everything about Damon's Mountains and being with some of the old Crew even if it's not in his mountains, feels like coming home. I love these Daughters of Beasts and honestly I wish she would keep going. I will always read what she writes, but when she brings us back there, it is the best feeling ever. Great story and I love the new c team. Beaston!!! What can I say, Chomp Chomp Chomp! Can't wait for the next one.

Not enough stars

If there is a book about positive energy and accepting yourself this is it! After trying to change herself and her whole life to please a man , Remi goes back to her roots...a motley crew of out of control shifters on a mountain with a run down 1010 trailer. By embracing her real self she helps this not a crew become one and finds her future. TS fans rejoice..we get updates on beloved past characters and Damon's mountains traditions carry on. An amazing read as always

Reviewed at Shifter Haven

Let me just get this out of the way — *Huge Fist Pump* and a “Hell Yeah!”… okay, I’m calmer now, thanks. Daughters of Beasts is a series that I didn’t know I was waiting for until I saw this book, then it all fell into place once again as I was transported back to my favorite shifter series of all. Yes, of all the many, many shifter romances I read this group of misfit shifters just strikes a cord in my heart and I’m hooked for good.

In my excitement over Novak Grizzly I’m being very careful to not let any spoilers slip past me… in fact, I’m triple checking before I hit publish. Remi is the daughter of Beaston (Gray Back Broken Bear) and Aviana, sister to Weston (Novak Raven)… and friends with some amazing shifter crews and families. She made a mistake and believed herself in love with the wrong man, and over their four years together he slowly changed her from the woman she was to his creation – then he simply left her without a thought. Remi is broken, believing herself unlovable until her friend Juno steps in to put her on the path to her future. Since her father is not only the famous Beaston, but somewhat of an infamous seer as well, when Dad agrees to Juno’s plan Remi takes notice, even if she’d rather stay in bed with a gallon of ice cream. She has no idea what she is getting into with this broken, messed up group that can’t even claim the word Crew… but she knows that one man sets her heart on fire, and makes her need to heal not only Kamp but those other two crazy guys as well. She’s not part of the Gray Back Crew for nothing, and she knows how to get serious and kick butt… especially when her happiness and her mate’s sanity is on the line.

I had an absolute blast with Novak Grizzly, and it’s a good thing I was home while reading ‘cos there was a huge grin on my face the entire time. So, here’s the tricky part – if you have not read the entire connecting series that make up the Damon’s Mountain Universe there are some small nuances, some reminders of things in those earlier stories. Will not knowing those nuances spoil this one for you… absolutely not, you actually won’t be aware that they are important unless from Remi’s reactions. There are several series that connect in some way, so asking you to go back and start at the beginning is unrealistic — but they are an amazing adventure and well worth the time spent to read them, and I’d recommend it.

I loved Novak Grizzly so much, and to be back with these Crews is simply amazing. You’ll run into some familiar faces, some information will go “click” in your brain as you make connections and you’ll fall in love all over again with another crew of misfits that somehow work… together. If I could give this one a 10 star rating, I would… it’s that good.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
