Great introduction to mixed methods research for this who are unfamiliar. Cresswell goes through every step of the process from design to publication (briefly). This book is well suited for those who are new to mixed methods or to a graduate proseminar on empirical research that discusses multiple methods.

This is a great book for anyone trying to learn about mixed methods research, and is written by one of the main gurus. Easy to read, short chapters break down the key components of the method and an overview of how it is done but also practical issues such as writing a mixed methods article for publication are touched on.

Lol actually was really engrossed in the first half of the book because I'm trying to figure out my research project that has already been completed. Its a methods book so the immediate non-applicable parts felt like they dragged on but I'll def come back to it when I need to write the manuscript.

A tad repetitive, but for me I found it helpful to really reinforce topics throughout the book.
