Anomaly: How to Finally Stand Out From the Crowd

Rate this book
Anomaly provides proven financially conscious and easy-to-implement methods for those who want to turn heads, be memorable, and become the anomaly. Rather than rambling about high level topics that turn out to be nothing more than a plethora of cliché “rah rah” phrases that are supposed to get people excited about business, Zack Miller, an award-winning business man, shows readers what they can do today to grow their brand. Anomaly teaches readers how to stand out from the millions of people fighting for attention; addresses both online and in person strategies; helps readers grasp the concept of confidence when building an audience; showcases proven case studies of methods in action; and includes methods that cost less than the book itself.
Whether they are a marketing professional or an individual striving to stand out from the crowd, Anomaly teaches readers things they can implement immediately to start seeing results―things they may not have thought about or believed they can do. For those who are tired of spinning their wheels and making no progress, Anomaly reveals how to start moving forward.

A business friend of mine, Tom Dutta, of KRE-AT, raved about this book and told me I needed to read it. He arranged for me to receive a pre-publication copy from the author. I am grateful that he did.

I'll be totally honest, I have trouble reading this book as a normal book. No, it is not because it isn't well written, nor because it isn't profitable. I have trouble reading it because it is unlike almost every other business book I've ever seen. I've had the book now for a couple of months, and I have yet to get half-way through it. That's because I will read a section and find myself stopping to think through what I just read and wonder why nobody ever told me this stuff before. I'll go back and reread portions and take notes that I then try to put into practice.

When I read The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, I had much the same reaction when reading through the scrolls, hence the headline, "One of Two." They are the only two books that I can recall that have affected me in this way. Yes, I've taken notes on other books, and I've put to practice things I've learned from them, but all other business books I've read tell me to do the same thing everybody else is doing. Miller tells me to set myself apart. To be different. To be an anomaly.

The thing I really love about this book is its practicality and the way it fits a multiplicity of situations. I am no longer in the normal business world since becoming disabled six years ago. However, since I started writing, I have had to learn a wholly different business model for getting my books noticed. Anomaly is applicable. It would have been applicable when I owned a recycling operation, when I had a trucking operation, when I worked in web/internet sales, too. I like the way Miller broke the book into chapters that have widely different applications, yet at the same time, there is so much that can be gleaned from each for all applications.

This book will remain in my reference library for a long time, and I'll be learning new things, or at least having new things to ponder as long as I take the time to read it.

An excellent book with a road map of steps to take to really get your brand moving, whether that be a business, a channel, or even just yourself. I definitely see myself referring back to this book as I get my own business rolling!

Inspiring book that encourages business owners to embrace their uniqueness and stand out. As Zack Miller's stepmom, I'll tell you - this is the real Zack Miller with nothing held back. This is his real advice that he gives clients in one-on-one coaching and to others in his talks. I purchased multiple copies to give to my clients.

A book to get you started on the path to becoming well-known in your field and area. Great tips on relationship building and providing value as sales techniques, instead of the typical “buy my thing.”

I own a small business and Zack Miller was vital to the success of that business. He provided me with business coaching as I launched my business, and most of what he taught me is now in this amazing book called Anomly. Its a really great roadmap for how to start and continue to grow your business!
