5 " Nikolai" Stars!! I loved this one... " My Storm." he moans as his thrust pick up speed. " Always and forever, my storm". Nick was one sexy, sweet, tough Russian!!! Loved Him .

The Storm a stormy and turbulent five-star-read by Tara Wylde and Holly Hart, this is a stand-alone read with plenty of steam and drama to keep you hooked. These two authors together write a great story, the words flow seamlessly and they float of the page. It’s hard to write this story without giving the game away, it truly is one of those story’s you need to read. Its full of passion and intrigue and enough drama to keep you hooked. Well done on a great story.

A wonderfully written story that I couldn't put down. I got drawn in right from the beginning and was hooked on 'Storm' (aka Jessica) and Nick. Both have secrets and a past they'd rather forget. Nick has become a loner, tucked away in his secluded mansion. A storm was approaching and he was covering up his boat when he noticed a boat in distress. He rescues a beautiful lady and nicknames her 'Storm'. Nick is a former enforcer for the Russian mob and is horrified to know that she was trying to escape from his former partner. Her parents were druggies and had sold her to him. Nick knew that he must protect her at any cost. Lots of suspense, drama and chemistry that is off the charts. A good read. I received and advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

We meet Nick first and discover him on a beach all alone apart from, his two German Shephard dogs and he's tying up his boat as he can see a storm brewing in the sky. He then notices a yacht that seems to be sinking. he sees the bedraggled female whom he calls Storm and she is reticent about saying who she is but he notices that the yacht has bullet holes in it so he knows that she's on the run.Having been a Russian Mafia Enforcer himself he knows how to protect and handle himself. The attraction between Nick and Storm is instantaneous although he is so much older than her. He left the mafia to have a real life and he knows to keep his own secrets but when she confesses whom she is running from he knows that he will not only protect her but keep her for himself. Tara Wylde and Holly Hart weave their story and introduce snippets that help to make sense of all that is going on. As individuals Tara and Holly are superb authors and together they are unbeatable. Certainly this story involving one innocent and one who feels tainted by what he had to do and yet, they found each other and everything seems to make sense when they are together - especially in those scorching sex scenes but even when they are just talking to one another I could "feel" how they fitted together like a puzzle. The Storm is a fabulous story with passion, hatred, protectiveness, caring and love that will surpass all the greed and violence that also is involved. This is one of those books that is a must to buy! I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

I really enjoyed this story! It was well written and I liked the characters. Storm and Nick are written well and I enjoyed the way that their relationship developed and the way that we got to know them. Nick has a past, as does Storm, that we don't learn about right away. We just know that Storm is in trouble as someone is after her and that Nick is in a position to keep her safe. Nick's past allow him to take in Storm without needing all the details right away. It's the reason why we don't learn about their pasts immediately. This was done really well and while I wanted to know, I didn't feel like I was missing anything or that it was drawn out too long. Storm is a virgin and really hasn't done anything. Just about everything is a first for Storm with Nick. For the most part this was done well. There were a couple of times, a couple of situations that just didn't jive as well for me. It didn't have to do with the 2 characters being together but more with Storm's attitude towards what they were doing with it being her first time. That being said, it didn't bother me that much and was something that I was able to move right past and dig myself back into the story. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down. There is action and intrigue that keeps you engaged and turning pages so that you can figure out what is going on and how everything works out. This story was entertaining and a great way to spend my evening.

What a fitting title!
Come on! This was one crazy train of tale I did not want to end!
So much emotional wreckage between Nick the #swoon worthy dangerous Russian ( who I have to say I would want to save me, repeatedly ) and Storm the savvy, sassy women whose life gets intertwined with Nick's past.
I loved every millisecond of the molten lava passion between this insta- all duo and the wittiness thrown in the midst of some dark, suspenseful, nail-biting moments. I could have read about these two and their exploits all day!
Was well written with excellent characters, had me swiping pages frantically to find out what would happen on the next. Once again this fantastic author duo has blown me away with the creativity and unique storylines they give us!
An absolute pleasure to read, and will be going on my to be read again list!

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review*** A fantastic read! The storyline is great and the characters are so believable you can picture them! Jessica is a young lady caught in a storm on the Atlantic ocean. She is rescued by a very rich recluse, Nick, and his dogs. Nikolai is not one for asking questions, so he gives the girl the name of Storm. Although there is a great age difference there is an attraction. Storm is running away from a young Russian, Arkady, the son of Nick's former partner in crime. The young Russian goes to Nick's house looking for the girl and he tells him she's there under his care where she's going to stay and for Arkady and his goons never to return. Nick tells Arkady to ask his dad about him! Arkady is a doper and he's crazy. This causes a different storm!

I read all the reviews and no one mentioned it and maybe it's because I love action movies but doesn't the plot kinda reminds you of John Wick? But with a romantic twist. Seriously from his past to the whole mafia boogeyman bit and just little things added into his life. I think the author took inspiration from that movie and I loved it. John Wick is one of my favorite movie. I don't care for mafia romance (they bore me to death and I have little patience for them) but sometimes it works out nicely like The Storm. The only thing I found lacking was the ending and epilogue. Could had been grittier, bloodier, and better but I understand the author was trying to go for a more PG ending. Overall I really enjoyed The Storm. Both the hero and heroine are likeable and strong. I'm glad I decided to read this book on a snowy Friday instead of taking a nap.

I loved this book! It was totally different than any romance book I have read in the past. Holly Hart and Tara Wylde are continuing to write excellent books that you should definitely give a try, but this is a special read. The Storm brings us Nick and Storm (Jessica). He is a former member of the russian mob but has quit that life. He lives in a huge mansion with only his 2 dogs for company. Nick finds Jessica in the midst of a storm and rescues her. He finds her past is trying to catch up with her and tear them apart. I don't want to give anything else away, so I will stop here. I have received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I wish it was possible to give this more than 5 stars!

WOW!! A truly amazing read! This was definitely my favorite of the books these 2 authors have co-written! It has everything and takes you on an emotional journey, which hooks you from the first chapter!
You learn in the beginning that both Storm and Nick have pasts that are less than pleasant but don’t know the reasons why. I really enjoyed the slow path the authors took to revealing the truth about their pasts, it kept me reading so I could find out. Great!
I chose this rating because this is a really good book. All of the characters were amazing, I loved each and everyone. I loved the way Nick just went into protection mode when he rescued Storm from the boat she was in. She was running from a very mean man. So Nick helped her. He wasn't hiding by no means, because Nick was a big man. He wasn't hiding from anyone. This was a really great book. I'm not gonna put too much of the story in my review. You will have to read it to find out what happened. But believe me this book was on point. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Excellent contemporary, older mafia billionaire & virgin. The author did a great job of drawing the reader in in the first few pages through the end. Nick has lived in his own in a beautiful beachside home for over a decade. One day he spots a woman in a boat and names her Storm. They both have difficult pasts and with each other are looking for something better. Unfortunately, Nick's last and Storm's (Jessica's) present collide in to an action packed and explosive situation. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

When a severe storm causes Nick and Jessica's paths to cross, their lives will change for ever. I loved this story. I started reading and couldn't stop. This one is definitely worth the time it takes to read.

Well done Ladies what a great story, I really enjoyed this story i couldn't put it down. These Authors are awesome on in there own right but together the rock. Its all about Nick and Storm (Jessica). They plenty of lies, deceit and so many secrets that will end up been revealed. theres some twists and turns plus lots of HOT chemistry between them, can say touch much with out given to many spoilers. I received an ARC copy of this book and I voluntarily chose to review it. This book was awesome. I read it in one afternoon I couldn't put it down, It's an older man with a younger woman. I was afraid that it would be the same old story of the man taking care of the poor mistreated woman. Well I have to tell you that isn't the case with this story. This is the first Tara Wylde / Holly Hart book I have read but it will not be the last. I do encourage everyone to get this book. This book is worth your time and effort.

This was an excellent read! The writing flows well, and the story line was good. Nick and Storm are so good together, and their chemistry is great. Storm was able to bring out the softer side of Nick, and he was able to show her that she can be strong. I almost lost it at the proposal scene, but thankfully the story turned around. I love a strong heroine, and it was awesome to see Storm stand up for herself, and use the things that she had been taught. The ending was not at all what I was expecting, but in a good way. These two authors are a getting better every time they release a new book!

When Nick rescued Storm, neither of them had any idea that their lives were already connected. Nick has retired from the life of an enforcer and just wants peace. Storm is on the run, and Nick can't help but want to take care of her and protect her. It's so sweet and swoonworthy, yet so steamy and sexy between them. The chemistry is off the charts despite the age difference. I absolutely loved their story! The action and the romance were equally well done, and the dialogue just so engaging! A must read!

A man in hiding. A woman running away. A threat both are trying to escape from. And so begins a fast paced surge of emotion as Nick and Storm navigate secrets and hurts while fighting for a love that shouldn't be. I really enjoyed this and would certainly recommend snagging this for a cosy few hours lost in an intense romance with a deserved happy ending.

This was just fan-freakin-tastic!! I loved this story so much and could not put it down. Nick is a handsome Russian and Storm is on the run for her life. Nick is drawn to Storm and wants to protect her. This story has a protective alpha, action, violence, intense romance, and sizzling chemistry between Nick and Storm. This story is so well written and thought out. It pulls you in and doesn't let go. I highly recommend this read!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this book. The Storm had great characters, a wonderful storyline, even a little bit of action and touch of suspense. The only issue I had with this book was the epilogue, to me it seemed to be lacking something. The feel of it didn’t seem to fit the rest of the book, it seemed out of place. Overall, it was a good book.

I loved this book, a mafia read but not your typical mafia story. The storyline was intriguing and absolutely captivating, it grabs hold and draws you in. The authors did a great job writing and creating this story, with a well balanced storyline and flows smoothly. Everyone has a past... It all started on a cold raining night... All Nick wanted to do was make sure that his boat was safe from the up coming storm. Little did he know that the Storm that was coming into his life was going to change up his life forever. I love this storyline. Tara and Holly did a wonderful job writing about these to characters. I could not put it down, I was surprised with the twist and turns! Loved! Loved! Loved it!

What an amazing story!! The Storm by Tara Wylde and Holly Hart was astounding!!
This was a ingeniously written story that has it all. It was well paced with an excellent story line that kept me fully and intimately engaged in the story from beginning to end.
These two authors are an amazing combination and any book they've collaborated on is always a great read.

Hot love story between two unlikely characters. Two very broken people are paired in this insta connection, May December romance. I loved Nick the controlled bad boy with a heart and Storm the strong kick ass woman mature beyond her years. This is a fast paced book with lost pf action and a few sit on the edge of your seat moments.

Wow! This was steamy, suspenseful, and a crazy thrill ride! I loved Nick and his quiet tortured soul. Storm was great. The chemistry between Them was crazy hot. I loved how Nick didn’t force Storm to tell her story. I shed a few tears when he told his story. Very well written with great characters!

This book had its good points, but a lot of the interactions between Nick and Storm (*eyeroll*...I can't see anyone readily going by that, maybe as a nickname..) were just...boring? I don't know. This book didn't really do anything for me. I will say that the mob parts of the story were interesting. Nick was pretty much the saving grace of this book.

Tara Wylde & Holly Hart bring us another kickass bestseller!! This older man / younger woman romance is action packed with nail biting suspense, the sexual scenes are just Steaming-Hot and the characters have you shedding a tear or two.

Really enjoyed Nikolai & Storm’s Story. Both needed each other and fate brought them together. Nikolai rescued Storm and he will do anything to protect her. But lines are crossed as both Nick & Storm are targeted. Who will survive? Once you start reading you will not want to stop reading.
