الكتاب ده بيعلم الأطفال حاجات مهمة هتنمي شخصيتهم وتخليهم يقدروا يعتمدوا على نفسهم من بدري...
الكتاب بيتكلم عن حاجتين اتخاذ القرارات وحل المشكلات وبيفهم الطفل إزاي يفكر في حلول ويختار من بينهم الانسب من غير ما يجي على نفسه ولا على غيره وكمان يفكر بعد ما يتخذ القرار ويشوف النتيجة هل كانت كويسة فيكررها ولا مش كويسة فيجرب حاجات تانية المرة الجاية.

Step one: Determine what needs to be decided.
Step two: Determine what the choices are.
Step three: Think about the choices.
Step four: Choose the best alternative.
Step five: Do what you have decided to do.
Step six: Think back over your decision.
Remember, if you want your decisions to be good ones, you need to keep the following guidelines in mind.
Love life and the world around you.
Love yourself.
Love other people.
It is true that some decisions are difficult to make and sometimes you may make wrong ones, but making decisions is a marvelous gift. Making decisions is an important part of being a free, thinking human being.
It is true that some problems are difficult to solve and sometimes you may not solve every problem perfectly, but solving problems is a wonderful way to learn about yourself and life. Solving problems plays an important part in helping you grow.

Buku berilustrasi yang mengajarkan cara berpikir dan mengambil keputusan untuk anak-anak.
Di dalamnya dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian. Bagian pertama menjelaskan apa yang dimaksud dengan keputusan dan bagaimana sebuah kehidupan selalu dekat dengan keharusan untuk mengambil keputusan. Bagian kedua membahas beberapa jenis keputusan. Bagian berikutnya merupakan pembahasan inti buku, yaitu enam langkah proses pengambilan keputusan. Terakhir, dan menurut saya yang paling penting, apa yang dimaksud dengan keputusan yang baik dan bagaimana hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan kita.
Buku ini didominasi gambar dengan kalimat penjelasan yang singkat dan lebih banyak dalam bentuk cerita. Kalau dilihat dari contoh-contoh kasusnya, buku ini cocok untuk anak usia SD.
Oh ya, ada bab khusus latihan juga, loh. Isinya beberapa kasus yang harus dipecahkan oleh anak-anak menggunakan enam langkah mengambil keputusan.
Nah, semoga dengan membaca buku ini, keterampilan anak-anak untuk mengambil keputusan pun dapat terasah sedini mungkin.

Making Up Your Own Mind is a simple, illustrated book walking kids through the process of weighing their options in different situations and making decisions thoughtfully, understanding consequences. It even has interactive pages. I have a whole series of these books, but don't remember where I got them from or when. I've read a couple of them.
