I have read these every year for many years now. I really appreciate the wonderful stories. I like getting to know all the different writers and hear what is happening in their lives. Each volume has brief bios of each contributor that tells what has happened in the last year in a paragraph. I feel that these folks are friends. There is always a gem in each reading to brighten the day ahead. The bible verses at the end of the entry get me to dig deeper into the meaning of the writing.
