Poor Jude. Lusting after his friend’s girl, Paige. I loved Paige the first time I met her in Vlad, Book I of the Mechanics and Mayhem series. I love her pink hair, purple toe nails and happy demeanor. BUT, things are not always as they appear.

Jude has his share of baggage and he is an angry man. Unhappy. I love how he talks about her putting color in his black and white world. He thought he had blown his chance with her and there was no going back, though the ‘what if’ lingered in his mind.
Paige is a loyal friend, but the easy going girly girl can be a badass when she needs to be. I love how she describes herself, ‘an optimistic realist’, but sadness fills her life. I feel so bad for Paige. I first met her when I met Lucy, in Book I of Mechanics and Mayhem, Vlad. She has her own sad story. When Jude finds out, and he will, something will be done about it. The sexual tension between Paige and Jude, as they struggle to deal with their attraction, is driving them…and me…crazy. I just know they have to end up together.
Birdie is Paige’s grandma. She is a real hoot. Kristine Mason is fantastic at creating great characters filled with tons of personality.
Sully is a good time guy. Want some fun and laughs? Call Sully. Need comforting and sweet nothings…not for him. Are him and Paige really a couple?
Dean, Paige’s crazy ex, what a pathetic excuse for a man, husband and father.
Finally, their first kiss. Paige and Jude are at the garage…well… “This is like a bad sitcom.” Had me cracking up.
OMG. Blake is adorable. He is sweet, precocious and I immediately fell in love with the child.
‘He wondered if Paige realized he had a male mini-me.’
“Check it Paige.”
And then the shit hits the fan. I can’t believe Dean. Lives are at stake and I wonder who will be left standing. Kristine, you create some of the best villains.
Adults only please. We do have some sexy, sweet, hot, and steamy scenes.
I love the peripheral characters as much as the main ones, whether they are human or critter.. They all add their own bit of spice to the story. I can’t help but laugh and let my mind develop pictures as Vlad, Jude and Paige talk about Vlad and Lucy’s special needs critters and the latest addition, an arrogant peacock that is being shunned by the others. Love to SEE that.
Vlad and Lucy are planning their wedding and I can hardly wait to read about that!
I feel so close to the characters, sometimes it’s hard to believe they are fictional. I love to laugh with them, cry with them and find a happy ever after with them.
Whew…I feel wrung out, like I got rode hard and put up wet. Kristine Mason has the ability to wind me up, my emotions ratcheting up until I feel I can’t take any more. Then she throws in some laughs and lovin’ and I am ready to continue. Her stories are wild roller coaster rides that keep on giving until the last page is read. If you love romantic suspense, Kristine is a must read author!

I adored Jude and Paige ended up being the perfect partner for him! Who knew behind all her “my little pony” magic and colour that Paige was hiding such a heartache! I couldn’t imagine facing that hurt and devastation, Kristine as always really makes you feel all the feels! You laugh, you break your heart, you want to bash the heads of beloved characters, you fall in love again and again! These mechanics are quickly becoming my favourite book hero’s. Highly recommend, you won’t be able to put it down!

Jude Kendrick never thought he would fall in love again, so why now and why did it have to be his best buddies girl? Jude fell in love with Paige the moment he laid eyes on her, but his best friend asked her out first. The only thing he can do now is be a rude jerk and hope she will stay away from the garage so he isn't forced to witness their growing relationship. Life will lose all color if he can't see the smile that ends the darkness.
Paige Daniels always has a smile on her face and an optimistic outlook on life. If only they knew what secrets her smile hid. She is dating Sully a friend of Vlads from the garage he works at. From damsel in distress to an amazing heroine, Paige is portrayed as this relentless women that would everything she can to protect her son. This story shows the trials and tribulations of a mother that won’t give up on raising a son she lost once and found years later. Take the journey with Paige and Jude as they search for a little boy with a lot of spirit despite his horrible upbringing. You won’t be disappointed!

OMG! What a freaking great story! This one had EVERYTHING! I loved all the plot intricacies and how hard it was for Jude and Paige to get on the same page. I also thoroughly enjoyed the relationship dynamics of the guys. They were a hoot. I absolutely adored this book and can’t wait to read the next one!

Two people hurt deeply by past relationships are immediately drawn to one another but let their baggage get in the way of forever. When the one of their past comes back with a vengeance will they be able to overcome and put aside the damage and begin to heal as one.

Kristine Mason never ceases to amaze me at how versatile her writing is. One thing remains the same her books are awesome!! This series is different from her other books. It concentrates more on the relationship between the couple. The suspense is an afterthought. Jude and Paige have so much baggage to overcome from the past. Each book in this series has that slow burn feel that I love. Grandma Birdie is hilarious!!

I absolutely loved this latest installment from Kristine Mason. This story is about a mechanic named Jude and a girl named Paige. Paige was dating his friend and it never went anywhere. Paige always liked Jude. Paige has a past....Paige broke it off with Sully and started to see Jude. She let Jude in and he became he savior. Jude helped rescue Blake her son. Later on the confirmed their live for each other and became a family but not before Paige's ex escaped from custody. Paige ended up shooting and killing him because he had kidnapped Blake and abused her. Jude and Paige along with Blake became a family. I'm so excited to hear more from this author. Great

This book is my FAVORITE KM book ever! I quickly fell in love with Jude and Paige. This story was so relatable to me. I have dealt with abuse in a relationship so I totally connected with Paige when she started to have doubts about her relationship with Jude. I felt the exact same way going into the relationship that I am in now. Also, I loved Birdie and Blake so much for very different reasons. Birdie likes to enjoy life and be the life of the party. Blake just tugged at my heartstrings as he started to get warmed
up to being with his mom more. As always, Kristine likes to make her villains worse than the last one and I just couldn't wait to see how it all ended for Dean. If you haven't read any of Kristine Jason's books, what have you been doing with your life?!? Pick one up right now!!!

I absolutely loved Jude and Paige together in this story! Both have had tough pasts and they try together to overcome them. I want to tell you more about them in this review but I’m worried I will ruin the story, but suffice to say it is as good as Vlad.....even with special needs animals....that make me laugh 😂 A definite must read and I’m keen as mustard to see what Kristine pulls out of her magicial hat for Sully and Ross❣️
