Sabrina and David.
Let it be known that I haven’t read this book in order. But with that said, in my opinion, you really do not have to read it in order. The flow of the characters and storyline was easy to decipher the friendships and relationships.
This story is a super sweet romance, with a side of hot and spicy to it. The storyline was the sweet part because the two main characters were best friend way back in the day.... then fast forward, where they are grown adults and that’s where the hot and spicy comes into play.
Gillian did a great job of giving enough background information on these two that you didn’t need to read another whole book about their childhoods. The story wasn’t complicated by flash back, present and then flash back. We got to know them as adults and peek into their childhoods together. That was very well done.
Now with that all said, this book is amazing! I laughed, I wanted to cry and at one point I wanted to just say enough - you know where you guys belong lol.
David is the strong SEAL type but the thing about him is someone crushed his heart a long time ago and it never really healed up. Then life moved on, he moved on and had more heartache in his life. Until one day, he bumps into the one person that has the power to bring him to his knees. The only question is - will he allow the walls from his heart to crumble in order to love again.... or will the walls forever stay up?
Sabrina is an awesome woman. She knows adversity well...she was bullied in school, but her saving salvation was her best friend. He loved her for who she was, not what she could be. He always had her back... until one day she overheard a conversation that wasn’t meant for her to hear. Her soul and spirit got crushed. Until... she met a guy who challenged her and changed her outlook on life. Little did she know that would help her in all aspects of her life. Even the future bumping into the one guy that could melt her world.
Now sit back as you watch these two world collide- I can promise you fireworks! This is such a hot little read! One you will enjoy and don’t forget about their friend’s story as well! Happy reading!

An absolutely beautiful second time around romance! Boomer and Sabrina have a lifetime of memories and regrets, as well as questions about their past. This Second time Romance has just the right amount of suspense thrown in with love and lust between these two amazing characters. I enjoyed how this Author is able to fill in the missing years of both of their lives in such a way that it doesn’t leave the reader lost. It is a well written story with amazing characters who have lived full lives and have reached an apex in their lives together.

This is a beautifully written second chance romance story. When Boomer went to his friends Halloween party he never expected to run into Sabrina the girl that shattered his heart .She was his best friend but he was also in love with her.And after a date she shut him out acted like she didn't know him.He was still wounded and angry about it.She shouldn't feel so good and just touching her arms was like a big explosion going through him.She didn't recognized him.He went on to the restroom.Sabrina didn't ever feel what She felt when her hands touched the man dressed like hulk.She was watching for him when her friend ask her what's up she said she met someone when her friend saw who it was she was excited because boomer was her boyfriends friend a fellow Seal.But when a woman with purple hair went up to him giving him a hug and they were leaving together.Should she follow and talk to him?When one of his friends said something to make him laugh she knew it was David the boy she has always loved and hated she left things the way she did.She had to explain.She hoped she could get him to forgive her.Will David and Sabrina have a second chance?When she gives him her journal to read and tells him it will answer all his questions.Will David realize he made a mistake not fighting for her?Will he go to her?Will they have a chance at happiness this time?

Wow! I absolutely loved this book! This is the first time I have had the distinct pleasure of reading from the works of Ms. Blakely, and I have to say, I'm floored. What a talent she has. Her characters were believable, full of doubts, frustrations, hurt and love, and they had a story to tell that kept you on the edge of your seat throughout the entirety of the book. David (Boomer) and Sabrina have each had their share of heartache, but a chance meeting at a mutual friends' party has given them both an opportunity to hash out exactly what happened between them fifteen years ago. The only question being, will it help or hinder their budding relationship, as they try and move forward, leaving the past behind!
I loved this book, the authors' style, the storyline as well as the wholesome characters. I hope to read more from her in the future.

A beautifully written read that will keep you enthralled as it reaches through the pages breaking off pieces of your heart sending uncontrollable tears running your down your face then flips a switch and has you rolling with outrageous burst of laughter thinking things can only get better from here only to do a repeat toiling with your emotions all over again but so worth it in the end as it finally gives you the reprieve you so desperately needed with a five star ending that will truly warm your heart leaving you completely content with a pearly white smile on your face! Edgy, intense, enjoyable, fun, fierce, sassy, witty, a myriad of emotions, page turning twists and sexy hot chemistry! An amazing must read!

Sabrina and David run into each other after years apart. The last time they saw each other a misunderstanding had them separating under less than ideal circumstances. Sabrina took off without saying goodbye.
David’s heart was broken so when he sees her again he fights his attraction to her. When they finally give into the physical attraction they both know it has an expiration date. Their careers are taking them in different directions and David will be leaving town soon.
With their careers leaving them in separate cities will there love be enough to carry them through? Or will they separate once again.

I enjoyed every second of this read!

Boomer has been through wars and heartbreaking loss. He keeps himself to himself and is not looking for any permanent relationships.
Sabrina has come up from rock bottom and is ready to great the world and start looking for someone.
This is a tale with a happy ending, no cliffhanger but lots of learning, loving and forgiveness. Oh and laughter and tears...on the part of the reader!

These two are completely hung up on their past that happened 15 years ago, with many regrets. Some of his regrets are tragic and my heart broke for him. Their love ran deep and was beautiful to watch.
I love that this author had no problem writing a big bad alpha SEAL that wasn’t really afraid to expose himself emotionally. Great story with fantastic characters. I can’t wait to read more from this very talented author.

The third novel in the SEALs of Roseville series, a story I enjoyed reading it is well-written and one I was not putting down until I had finished it. This is Sabrina Duncan and David “Boomer” Jameson's story of a second chance after fifteen years apart. These two have a lot of regrets and memories about the time they where friends. David and Sabrina have know each other since they were five. They were best friends and just started to work on the feelings they had for each other. During high school Sabrina took a really bad turn and ended her relationship with David. Fifteen years later they run into each other at a Halloween party. This is were the story begins on how they repair their relationship and the secrets they are holding come out. The book was good.

Wow what a great book! It has a big handsome Navy Seal and a beautiful lady. This book has past bullying in it, kid friendship, women friendship, Seal team buds, and a whole lot of chemistry. This is a very emotional book and really amazing. I loved it.

This is a well written story with great characters. I enjoyed this story and the three books in this series. I would encourage everyone to get this book. This one is worth your time. Give this one a chance I think you will like it.

As relayed by the title, this is a second chance romance. Overall I enjoyed this book, however I did feel that the story was a bit rushed and the characters didn’t have quite as much chemistry as I like to see in books
