I just hope this series lives up to its potential because so far I'm totally intrigued.

That was the first line from my review of the first book in this series and it's not only lived up to its potential but it surpassed it and I'm really sorry to see it end.

This series was unlike anything else I've read. We were introduced to seemingly random characters all from different times and places but the more we read the more we realised they all connect in some way.

The book opens in Charleston, South Carolina 22nd December 2010 and Newt is upset that Pipi is spending too much time covering up the ghost attack at the Mulvaney mansion instead of searching for the Leg Collector but having covered up the ghost attack with the gas leak story they can't reveal that the Southern Gentleman stabbed Declan Mulvaney.
When the search warrant finally arrives they start in the basement of the mansion and follow the tunnel to the old slave quarters next door where they discover the true horror of the Leg Collector.

And again every story takes place in the same time, no more travelling through time everything is current and this is a true end to this series, all the loose ends are tied up and all our questions are answered as the web closes.

This was an intriguing clever series, having first met Onyx in 1904 we follow her for over 100 years as she lives, loves and dies and 'lives' again and after ten books I really feel like I know these characters and it's going to be strange without them.

When I first heard of the Onyx Webb series, I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was simply a ghost story, perhaps a supernatural mystery with some ghosts thrown in for good mystery. What I wasn't expecting was a love story, multiple family dramas, a ghost story, a serial killer, a revenge plot, and so much more, with a woman at its center who's life, both directly and indirectly, touched all involved. This story spanned decades from start to finish, and it was such an interesting journey waiting for everything to come full circle and for the past to finally meet the present.

Book ten continues where 9 left off, with the aftermath of Geralyn Stoller's predicted ghost attack, although now everyone has gone into cover-up mode. Those closely associated with the attack know what happened, and trying to place the cause of so much death on something the public will believe is itself a tricky beast. Ghosts are real, as many as the central characters can attest to (being that many ARE ghosts themselves), but dropping that information as the cause of attack certainly won't look plausible in the eyes of anyone not in the loop. Protection and plausibility are the names of the game, and Pipi, Newt, Maggie, and so many others are working overtime to ensure that happens.

Newt finally got his time to shine this time around, which I was incredibly happy with. With the hunt for the Leg Collector finally making headway, Newt and Maggie have teamed up once again to put the many, many pieces together to try and finally apprehend Stan Lee. With someone who's been collecting legs for several decades, he knows how to be elusive and how to outsmart the authorities, but Stan Lee has finally met his match with Spider Boy. Stan Lee has outsmarted him before, and it was certainly anyone's guess on whether or not he'd be able to do so again.

The Mulvaneys are coming to terms with their loss, and much of that was bittersweet. Declan has been such a dynamic force through the course of this series, and while everyone knew his end was near, it was still a shock to have him gone. Especially having him missing throughout an entire 4 episodes, but much of those episodes were still very much Declan-centric. The man died with secrets, and even the reader is left not knowing many of them. Such a mysterious character he turned out to be, and I loved the fact that even as the series ends, he's still shrouded in mystery. Whether or not that was an oversight, or purposefully done by the authors, it was a genius move in my eyes.

Book ten brings the Onyx Webb series to a close, and while there certainly wasn't a happy ending for everyone, the most important ones have finally found peace and a way to move on. Some characters' lives ended years ago, yet for many of them, life - or at least the semblance of a normal one - is just beginning. One of my main wishes throughout this series was for Onyx to finally have the life she deserved, or at least find a place where she can finally be at peace. Authors Fenton and Waltz surpassed my idea of what that would entail, and that truly was the highlight of this particular set of installments for me.

So very sad to see this series end, but everything has to end eventually. I've raved about this series from the very first installment, and I'll continue to rave about it to anyone and everyone who hasn't picked it up yet. Seriously, get started and immerse yourself in the weird and wonderful world of Onyx Webb so we can rave together.

*Many thanks to the authors for providing a copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

So this is it. The final book in the Onyx Webb series. I was so excited to read it and sad at the same time. I very much enjoyed the books, reading what was happening with the characters and anticipating what would come next. And now I’ve found out how it all ends. I won’t go into details about events in the book. It’s the tenth one, after all, and the synopsis gives you an idea. Instead, I’ll tell you how I felt.

To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about this series. The fist book took me a while to get the hang of. But once I did, I was swept up in a story that spans generations for ten books. Yes, ten. And each one drew me further in, had me waiting anxiously for the next and the next….. So many secrets, so much horror, so much hope.

There are usually 3 episodes per book, but in this final one the authors included an extra episode. I could see why as I read them. Bringing the past and the present and the characters together at the end and answering all questions to wrap up this series right, the extra episode was needed so things didn’t feel rushed and just crammed together.

And even though there wasn’t as much horror and action as the previous books, there was enough suspense, plus my own curiosity, to make this a terrific finale. Also, with so many characters with fascinating stories of their own, I do hope the author gives them there own place to shine. Maybe their own books. There’s so much more I’d like to know about what happens to them.

I mentioned in some reviews of earlier books that Onyx Webb is addictive. I don’t see me finding a cure any time soon. An epic and often horrific saga that still lingers.

I received a complimentary copy. My review is voluntarily given.

Well, the web is finally complete. All the loose ends are tied up and the secrets have all been told. There are no more dots to connect. I’m sad that this series is over, but as they say, all good things must come to an end.

Onyx Webb is a difficult series to review without giving away spoilers or repeating myself. I truly love this series but to be honest, I didn’t love this book as much as I loved the previous books. I’m not sure if it’s because I knew everything was ending or maybe it was because Book 9  was so exciting it made Book 10 feel a little anticlimactic. There is some action, but not nearly as much or as intensely as in the last book.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good book and a great series. There were several big surprises in book 10 that I didn’t expect, and a few surprises I wished would happen but didn’t. In my opinion Book 10 had a “wrap up” feel to it if that makes sense. It felt like this book was just everything settling into place so we could say goodbye to our favorite characters.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Onyx Webb series. Each book brought new surprises and answers to past questions. I will miss Onyx, Koda, Declan and all the other great characters in this series. I will even miss Stan Lee to some degree. If you haven’t read this series, you are missing a suspenseful and exciting series. Luckily for you, all 10 books are out and you won’t have to wait between books, which means you can read it straight through from start to finish!

I received this book to give an honest review.
This is the ending of Onxy Webb and I have to say I am sad. I had received this book a while ago but I didn't want to read it as I knew it was the end. Everything comes full circle in book ten. The FBI finally gets to get their main man, Onxy Webb finally gets to be happy though will she every fully be happy is the question, we learn that there seem to be a lot more ghosts around than we normally thought there were.

This series has been one of those series that you can't help but fall in love and it is hard to put down. Between the time lines and the different characters the authors did an amazing job with not having it be confusing going back and forth. One thing that I really enjoyed is how everything has something to do with fate. All these characters came together in one way or another and it was all connected. Answers will be given to questions that have been lingering on everyone's mind.

My favorite paragraph within the book: 'Stan Lee had always wanted to read the classics but had never taken the time. TV was too seductive. And easy. Reading a book was a rewarding experience, but at his core Stan Lee knew he was a lazy person. People who still read books were a rare breed-and becoming more rare all the time.

God Bless the readers of the world.'

If you haven't started this book then I highly suggest you get started!

After 10 books, 32 Episodes, an Epilogue and some 3,000 pages, the tale of Onyx Webb is told and done. Fenton and Waltz have pulled off something of a minor miracle by inventing a new type of supernatural serial soap opera that maintained its pacing and kept readers captivated from the first page. Congratulations, guys. Even though the plot was superlative, and the ending worthy of the great story, it really, really was the journey that was so enjoyable. I would not cut a single word when you re-release Onyx in 3 volumes.

No stones left unturned, no strings left untied, no hanging chads (ha!), ONYX WEBB:BOOK TEN delivered on all counts. I think it is safe to say, without risk of spoilers, that happy endings abound. Too many to count, and some of them very surprising, in the tangled Waltz and Fenton way that we readers have become accustomed to. Too often the highly anticipated ending to an excellent and lengthy series is a disappointment, but not this time. This time it is a completely satisfying natural end that leaves the reader both sorry that it's over and fully satisfied and glad that it ended so well.

I'll wait a few months, perhaps until it it re-relased as 3 complete volumes, and then look forward to starting all over and reading it from start to finish without having to wait a few months in between books.

Very Highly Recommended.

Finally, I made it all the way through this series. Ten books, all of which were entertaining to an extent. The best were the early books across a disjointed timeline, watching the strands of the web pull together.

But with this book, you get to the center of the web, look around, and think, "That's it?"

It's my understanding the authors are re-vamping this series now, hoping for a wider audience and are planning further Onyx Webb adventures. I wish them well, but I'm done.

The whole thing was cute and gimmicky and on a par with about a third- or fourth-grade reading level. This last book especially needed proofreading.

There's just no meat or substance here. Certainly no believability. There's a lot of name-dropping, especially to provide emphasis on how rich the Mulvaneys' are, but it's all flat. I didn't care.

It stopped being fun to read the last couple of books.

Here's an example of why:

Stan Lee had always wanted to read the classics but had never taken the time. TV was just too seductive. And easy. Reading a book was a rewarding experience, but at his core Stan Lee knew he was a lazy person. People who still read books were a rare breed - and becoming more rare all the time.

God bless the readers of the world.

So that's an icky-sweet, vomit-inducing sentimentality to be sure, but when you consider it's meant to be the musing of the world's most prolific serial killer while holed up in a lighthouse surrounded by a SWAT team, it's just ridiculous.

And that's how I felt at the center of this web, just ridiculous.

>Book Review – Onyx Webb

>I am an independent reviewer. This is book 10 in the Onyx Webb series and contains the last 4 episodes – Episodes 29, 30, 31 & 32. This book ties together the myriad of loose ends, giving some characters their HEA and other characters what they rightfully deserve. One of the main plot lines in the book is the capture of Stan Lee. Newt and Maggie slowly figure out all of the clues and come out on the winning end of Stan Lee’s game. Bruce confronts his brother, letting Stan Lee know how Declan was told young Stan Lee had died. Interesting how Stan Lee’s alternate personality figured out that Stan Lee took revenge upon Declan for nothing.

>Noah and Onyx marry. Onyx acts a bit against character and tries to end her endless death after life. Noah’s impassioned speech is very romantic. This whole series started with Onyx Webb. An HEA for Onyx would be well deserved. Each of the secondary story lines get their own epilogue. The most interesting turn of events involve Stormy and Tommy. Both men were thrown in a bad situation and made the most of it. I am glad their story ended as it did. The one character I wish there was more about was Onyx’s dad. He was a truly wise man.

>This whole series is a seriously interesting and clever character study showing the consequences of one’s actions. This book and series is appropriate for a young adult (16+) to an adult audience. I am giving this book and the whole series 5 huge stars. Once you start reading, it is impossible to stop.

Onyx Webb: The Series by both Richard Penton and Andrea Waltz is the last installment to this superb series. A paranormal soap opera tale filled with tons of action, adventure, and ghosts. Onyx Webb is by far still my favorite character. Her story was beautifully done. Noah is another character from this series that I loved too. He's Onyx's other half. Their relationship is unusual and emotionally engaging. All the other characters were awesome. They added to each featured episode. Fueling the drama, trouble, and mystery. Richard Penton and Andrea Waltz are two talented writers. Each one spun this entire book and it's Series into one that readers like myself will never forget. Nothing is easy in this book nor among the characters. Complex, complicated, and exciting. Never a dull moment. The pages flew by fast. I was once more hooked. I can't wait to see the next book these writers come up with next. Their words brought forth a new world in which readers like myself easily got lost within....addictive. Overall, I highly recommend book ten to all.

Well, the end of Onyx Webb series has come, and I’m not a happy camper about that. In this final chapter of the story, everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the solstice ghostly invasion. Onyx is letting depression take over, Noah gets the shock of his life, the Mulvaney’s tragedy brings them closer, and Stan Lee is running out of time. The rest of the characters are included, and everyone gets a closure.

The web has become crystal clear and gone full circle. The subtle shout out to the reader was a nice touch. And the joke about hanging Chad had me hearing the da-dum-dump music behind it. Kudos to these two Florida authors for that! Why, oh why, can’t this story go on forever? These characters have woven their way into my heart and it’s going to be hard leaving them behind. All I can hope for is to see them on the silver screen one day and be able to say ‘hello my long lost friends’.

It's over!

I have spent this whole year reading this series and I was just dreading when I got to the last novel.

Onyx Webb: Book Ten is just the cleaning up and perfecting all of the mess that transpired over the last nine books. Onyx, the people that are in her life, the Mulvaney family, their friends and loved ones, the Leg Collector, Newt and the FBI, and Quinn and Wyatt.

Everything turned out just the way that I wanted and somewhat expected to play out. Everyone got what they deserved and I am satisfied with the way Andrea and Richard ended it.

I also really loved that they used my name for a character in this last book. It was a nice surprise and I am really honored. :D

Annnddd, if they want to continue with the series for any reason at anytime, count me in as one of the first ones to read ti!

: Oh no, it's finished!

What an incredible series, I can't even begin to put it into words..you just have to read it from the beginning! Speaking of which now that I have all the books I can't wait to start reading them all over as I know I dropped parts of the story waiting for the next book to come out.
Andrea and Richard, you are going to be a hard act to follow, after Onyx Webb everything seems to pale in comparison! Thank you for being such great creative writers, it was total enjoyment to read! Can't wait to see what your next creative adventure will be!
Sincerely, a #1 fan! Merrilyn McGloin

I am both saddened and overjoyed at the culmination of the Onyx Webb series. Questions have been answered, loose threads tightened, the insanity, horror, downright spookiness, and love in this series will forever become a part of me and I look forward to returning to the series when I’m in need of some down home honest Onyx Webb wisdom. For those of you who’ve seen this series on Amazon, Goodreads, elsewhere and you’re wondering if you should commit, the answer is a resounding, YES! While your life might not be forever changed, you will feel a little different. If only for a little while. At the very least, you will never look at a mirror the same again.

I loved book 10 (as well as the others) and am so sad to see the end of this exciting, fascinating, unique and well-written series. After the explosive nature of book 9, this book achieves the ultimate weaving of the web, giving us resolution and closure for all the characters that have been part of our lives through all ten books. It is difficult to pigeonhole this series as it spans the dramatic, paranormal, thriller, historical, horror and romance categories. Start with book one and keep reading. You won't be able to stop reading the Onyx Webb books. A huge thank you to the authors for writing these books. They are beyond awesome!

I like to think of this book as one big lovely, indulgent wrap-up of an incredible series. There's nothing better than going into a story that raises a hundred different, complicated questions, and then having everything answered by the end of the series. The happy endings were happy, the deaths were sad and bittersweet, and the villains...well, I won't spoil it for you.

Thank you to Andrea Waltz for introducing me to these books, I am forever grateful. Everyone I've introduced to this series has loved it. I look forward to reading anything these authors put out in the future!

I loved every book in this series. And this last one was just as good. Still plenty of twists and turns and surprises. Some "last books" leave you feeling empty, angry, and or dissatisfied. The end of this series actually has a feel good ending. I love how the authors treated all of the characters in the end. There is also some humor and nods. Yes, I think the thing to do now, is read the whole series beginning to end. Thanks Richard and Andrea!

Truly amazing series

The Onyx Webb was one of the best series of books I have ever read. The way all the stories intertwined left me unable to stop reading them, needing to know how everything would finally come together. I am sad that the Webb is complete and can only hope that there will be more to tell in the future.

Awesome ending

I received the book for an honest review. After reading all 10 books, I can safely say that ghosts are more fun than people. Truly wouldn't mind being one if it meant getting to be Stormy or Onyx. For fans of spooky stories, this one is for you.

The conclusion to the Onyx Webb series is more of what has come before in the previous nine books and that is a very good thing. This series has felt like a television show right from the get go and the nice thing is that there are so many characters and storylines that it is very easy to find characters and character arcs to identify with and enjoy. Even if you don't like a particular character just wait a few pages and the scene will shift to a character you probably like more. Some of the characters have wonderful deep character arcs and growth and others may not change much but have rich histories and others just show up to die or be side characters but none of them are wasted or pointless.
This final novel brings all the pieces together and while I cannot say there is anything really like a big climax of action or story everything continues to move well with some exciting points and some surprises and so good character moments. Its all wrapped up very nicely with at least one hint for a sequel series that I noticed if the authors are so inclined. It comes back to if you liked the other books in the series then you are going to read this one and if you didn't like them then you didn't make it this far anyway. If you haven't read any of them and you like complicated eerie stories that are more about character driven plots and character drama and interactions then go pickup the first book and give the series a try. Its worth the time.
