I liked some of the ideas about mitigating uncertainty and a few of the study tips, but as someone who has read a few Cal Newport books, this one came up a little short. The study tips are great, but in Cal's book How to Win at College, he goes over everything that this book talks about in a more succinct way, while mentioning a few other key areas like scholarships, professors, extracurriculars. This wasn't by any means a bad book, but I feel like it does have a lot of fluff in between the insights that this holds.
