Exceptional Rock Romance!!
Dirty Like Me #1
This is a first rate rock romance that gives you everything you would want; super-hot rocker who does not do girlfriends, a “normal” girl with a chance of a lifetime, a connection between these two that everyone around them sees, and sexual chemistry that is off the charts. Sure, people say this is the “same old story” but this one hit for me and I am an avid rock romance fan. This has become one of my favorites because of the author and the way she played out this rocker romance. You actually felt the sexual frustration between these two along with the heartbreak that they each felt for their own reasons.
Jesse and Katie met by chance and the connection that those around them seen had Katie landing a model job doing a music video with the famous rocker. For Katie it was a big thing because she had been a couple of years of working through the destruction her ex-fiancé did on her by literally leaving her at the altar. She considered herself unlovable and her self-esteem plummeted from the action of a spoiled rich boy. Katie had lived for her art and she had let that falter too after the humiliation she had gone through but now this was her chance of putting herself back out there. Boy, did she ever put herself back out there; nothing like doing a sexy love scene in bed with this undeniably bad boy rocker!
Jesse was putting out a solo album during his break from his band, Dirty and it was extremely important that this album take off and be everything he could hope it would be. Since his love scene with the cute little “normal” girl was hitting it big online with everyone loving the connection they saw between Jesse and Katie. So Jesse came up with a plan to get his music to sell and that involved propositioning Katie to be his pretend girlfriend for six weeks while he was on his tour for this album. The money Katie was offered would finally get her back on her feet and what could it hurt because she couldn’t stop thinking of Jesse. Sure, she realized that he was a womanizer who couldn’t settle on just one woman for very long in between all of his groupies.
So when did this line blur and over time was Katie the only one feeling the things she did? The way they both fought off having sex brought sexual tension to its limits at times but it was just a great basis for the things building between these two. Katie just had to keep reminding herself it was all pretend…to Jesse anyway. Was Katie really cut out for the paparazzi and the way they would eventually portray her and what part would Jesse’s ex-girlfriend and Dirty bandmate, Elle, play in all of this? Let’s not even mention how Katie’s ex-fiancé, Josh, played a part in all of this, too. For me this was an excellent rock romance that had you feeling all of the lustful moments between Jesse and Katie right along with all of the heartbreak that you felt with everything Katie went through. This is a first time reading this author and I would say a definite recommendation for all of you “normal” rock romance fans! I’m so glad to hear that there is going to be more “Dirty” coming because there are a lot of supporting people in this story that need their own stories told.
Dirty Like Brody #2
I’ve become a fan of Jaine Diamond and her boys and girls in the rock band Dirty. This is Brody and Jessa’s story and it is written with the drama that seems to usually follow bad boys in famous bands. Dirty was a band made up of childhood friends who are more like family than anyting else and like most families along with their love comes a lot of heartache. Brody was always their friend; just not one of the friends with musical talent. His talent came in the form of being their manager and he did well for the boys and himself. Brody had a tough life and took on a bad boy persona from the start but he also became the savior of Jessa Mayes. As kids Brody took to Jessa but knew with the age difference at that time he could only admire her from afar even though she was the kid sister to his best friend Jesse. This meant that Brody had watched Jessa grow up into an amazingly beautiful woman. Jessa had talent not only being a lyricist to a lot of Dirty’s music but also as a model.
Jessa was dealing with her demons that she let take her from the only family she knew and kept her from them for six years. The only thing bringing Jessa back at this time was her brother’s wedding. The man she ran from was going to be there…along with his girlfriend. That had to hurt but she couldn’t stop watching Brody. As for Brody he was pissed off that after all of this time Jessa had not once answered any of his calls or messages. Just how long was Brody to wait for Jessa? That attraction was still there but along with that attraction came all of the demons that had sent Jessa running away from her friends and family. So what did send Jessa running and how long can you actually expect someone to wait? Is loving someone worth the risk that they may very well hurt you and/or leave you yet again?
Ms. Diamond has done a great job again of bringing you characters that she molds into people you can’t get enough of and leaves you feeling totally invested in their lives. Dirty Like Brody takes you in and behind the music scene along with taking your heart and putting it all out there. This is one of the series that always has me waiting with great anticipation as to who we are going to be up close and personal with next!
A Dirty Wedding Night #2.5
This is a “don’t miss book” full of everything Dirty. I’ve be a fan of Ms. Diamond’s since the very first Dirty book came out and this author knows how to take you into the rock scene of a band that lives up to their name…Dirty. A Dirty Wedding is actually 4 novellas packed into this one book which takes place at Jesse and Katie’s wedding. It is full of chemistry and lots of laugh out loud moments just to keep you sitting at the edge of your seat and fanning yourself.
You need to read the first books in this series in order to truly enjoy this book with each and every book in this series being a great rock romance read. All I know is that after reading this Ms. Diamond has set everything up for a fantastic continuation of the Dirty series which I can’t wait to read.

After reading these you'll want to go on with this well written rocker series about Dirty, world famous rock band and their 'family' which is made up of themselves, their closest, oldest friends and of course their actual family members. These guys are hot, sexy but down to earth and their world is a crazy, fun and sometimes complicated but so amazing to be a part of that you won't do much sleeping, or anything else until you get to the end of each book, take a breather and then right into the next one.
I fell in love with Jesse falling in love with Katie in Dirty like Me..who wouldn't! They are so adorable and irresistible!
Then, in Dirty like Brody, Jessa and Brody with their angsty past that you just want to find out every detail of will melt your heart alittle. Will they ever find a HEA? Can you say rocky road???
Dirty Wedding Night was so much fun, seeing how much in love my 2 favs Jesse and Katie are and how perfectly 'them' their wedding is. This part of the series is very exciting because after the wedding itself is over there are some serious behind closed doors action going on in that beautiful resort between many of the guests..hookups? Oh yeah! Steamy...definitely! Unexpected, for sure. This will leave you jonesing to read the 3 next Dirty books which are all out & ready for you to jump into...no waiting!

First book I have read from Jaine Diamond and I absolutely loved it. I love rock star romances and Dirty like me really rocked and did not disappoint. You will follow the story of Katie and Jesse. Katie first sees Jesse at her best friends office when she came to visit with her beloved dog Max. From this visit you will see how Katie ended up in a rock star video starring the handsome Jesse Mayes who is known for his love them and leave them ways. Katie is not at all impressed with Jesse and this catches Jesses attention. Next thing Katie knows she is acting as Jesse Mayes girlfriend to help him promote a solo album. Katie also learns of Jesse ex girlfriend Elle who is also Dirty's bassist who she learns is still in love with Jesse and can see through their act. You will also be introduced to the rest of the band who will have their own story in the Dirty Series.
Book 2 Dirty like Brody you will follow Dirty's manager Brody as he fight his feeling for Jessa Mayes Jesse Mayes sister. Jessa up and left and it really tore Brody up as he was in love with her. The reason she left was she had a secret that she was ashamed of. You will need to read the book to find out what the secret is.
Dirty wedding is the wedding of Katie and Jesse, you will also learn about some of the other band members and security in this story. They get their own story in the rest of the Dirty series

Book 2 - Disappointing
I'm giving this book package 3 stars because I did enjoy book 1. The lead characters both had past traumas but both found the courage to face them and move forward. Not insightful but enjoyable easy reading. Book 2 was a very disappointing female lead character. The main female accepted no real personal responsibility for their actions and let the male who she shared her addiction experiences with take the blame. The female lead character was wrote with no sense of personal responsibility, a complete lack of courage and no backbone. A female author letting females down - again.

I adore dirty like me. Everything about Katie and Jesse's story is hot, brooding and a wild ride. I have reread so many times because I keep getting sucked back into their story. Just like the first time I read it. Dirty like Brody. I wasn't as keen on mostly because I found I was very frustrated with Brody and Jessa. It was more antsy read than, I usually go for but was still a great story. Then Janie topped it off with a dirty wedding night. Which sucked me into needing to read the rest of the series. This was my first rockstar romance. Jaine knocked it out of the park.

I enjoyed these. Fun and steamy rock star romances with a fake relationship starting it out in Dirty Like Me and 2nd chance romance/friends to lovers in Dirty Like Brody with some fun novellas to fill in some gaps with some of the other characters.
I liked Dirty Like Me more than Dirty Like Brody but I think it was because it was slightly more emotions driven with more mature characters. The big conflict in Dirty Like Brody didn't seem like a huge deal to me and the female character went out of her way to make it a huge deal so the story wasn't quite as appealing as book 1, but still enjoyed them overall. Would definitely read more in this series.

I have found a copy of the first book “Dirty Like Me” on a BookBub special, and I am so glad I gave it a read!!! I’ve read all the Dirty universe books since and truly enjoyed them ALL! The stories are captivating, extremely well written and edited (pet peeve of mine), characters are well developed with so much emotional depth you’ll need to have a box of Kleenex handy. The Dirty books have it all - love, betrayal, angst, humor, friendships, awesome playlists and so much steam they just might melt your Kindle!

Great!
I chose this rating because this was a really great book. Well this was a really great box it. Even though it's not all of the books in the series. I really enjoyed all of the characters. Jessie and Katie, Brody and Jessa. Each couple had a little difficulty getting together. This was a really great book. This book was based on a couple of rock stars. This book was about compassion, learning to be yourself, and to love yourself. I really enjoyed this book. I'm ready to read the next book in the series. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers

This book was about compassion, learning to be yourself, and to love yourself. I really enjoyed this book. I'm ready to read the next book in the series. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers

Falling in love
I enjoyed the two books in this set. They had a story to tell that the readers of this genre finds endearing. Heartfelt and well written. The characters had a few you love to hate and some you love. Overall the stories were entertaining.
Then something happened. Four novellas pop up giving scenarios of the previous two books from the viewpoint of other people. Don't bother reading them. Total waste of time.

Dirty 2.5
I grabbed this box set because I wanted to read book/novella 2.5 and this was the only way I could find to get it. I have read book 1 and 2 so this added some fun to the story and gave you little peeks into Zane's and Jude's books and a little about Ash, which I really can't wait to read Dylan and Ash and hmmmm... maybe Elle?!!!
I can't wait to continue reading this series.. loving it!!

Wow!
Really love everything about these stories. Well written, totally real messed up people. Had me looking for more long before I finished the first one. Ms, Diamond took my hand and dragged me into a brand new world. These are pure grit. Like the potato, no one can read just one.
Love them or hate them, you will never forget them. Enjoy .

I can’t get enough of this series! Love the characters and the writing style! Dirty is the right word for these men. Plenty of naughty scenes but plenty of substance to the characters as well. Can’t recommend Jaine Diamond’s Dirty series enough.

Solid collection to get you started on the series
Enjoyed book 1 more than book 2 but the Dirty Wedding novella was awesome - funny, hot and gave a lot of insight to everyone who gets their own books later. Dual POV throughout.

Hard hitting, wonderful craziness
This series so far is great! A rock and roll romance that almost rivals the Rock Hard Beautiful series. I can't nwait to finish the series and see how it all turns out.

Read this on a lark. The author is new to me and I want expecting to fall in love with Dirty. I was very pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed getting to know the band. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A page turner
Not my usual read, more of a fantasy reader. However, I found it to be quite a page turner and stayed up until 4am to finish “Dirty like me”. Something I haven’t done in quite a while. So I got the box set, now I’m hooked.

Holy Toledo Batman!!!
I absolutely loved these characters! How could you not!! They were like able, relatable, and fun. I enjoyed getting to know Katie, Jesse, Brody, and Jessa! I can’t wait see them in the rest of the books!!
