Call me a prude, but I can't stand stories on cheating. I wouldn't have purchased this because of the theme. I did read the whole book and mostly would be a 4+ star review, except for adultery.
Granted this isn't your normal story on adultery, because the husband and wife are in agreement. There is sex obviously outside of marriage, heat level 3 out of 5.
Somethings are not explained well. When the h discovers something on a member of her family we are left wondering how much was lost. Did it come to light about what happened in the battle? Exactly how much did they explain to the ton about Oliver.
We have cheating, no cliffhanger, unanswered questions, HEA, for me no romance, and a tad of spice. (ljb)
