So all three of these stars are for the artwork which is absolutely incredible. However, the story was severely lacking. Not only was it incredibly short for a comic book, but nothing all that important seemed to be happening. No real story I feel like the show was missing out from.

This was a little disappointing. The art is beautiful, but the story not only lacked any real punch, but was also rather disjointed. There were moments when I seriously wondered if the author even understood the characters or the situations they were in. Everything felt a bit disconnected, and was just a series of incidents that were barely strung together. Yeah, but the art was gorgeous. So there was that.

Artwork is superb. Stories are short on content and don't add anything to the overall narrative. I'll pass on volume 2.

I will clarify up front. The stories here, two of them, were light and fresh, but nothing moving and certainly not worth the price for 56 pages. There is a collected version of all four hardcover books in a softcover version for the same price as one of these. Not hard to do the math. My copy of Volume 1 was signed by Max Jenkins and Mina Sundwall, so that makes up for the price, but for the rest, I will definitely be buying the complete version.

The art here is terrific, but the stories are pretty light. The first is basically a truncated retelling of the first episode and the second is a day in the life of Judy. Nothing that develops the characters or provides backstory to the series. However, how much can you do in 56 pages? Like I said, I am going to give the collection a chance, but must confess to a little disappointment here.

I really enjoy the Netflix Lost in Space series. While this isn't essential reading, and doesn't really provide information that we don't get from the show, it was still a fun read. Penny gets a particularly nice spotlight here, which is appreciated. And the art is really nice. As a fan of the show, this was a lot of fun.

Me encanta esta serie, así que todo material extra es bienvenido. Además, tengo que decir que el arte en estas novelas gráficas es una pasada.
