Wow, what can I say about this fabulous book that I haven’t said before about this author’s work? I’m still thinking... 😀
Loved the dynamics between the two main characters. Jared is a successful IndyCar racer but has just transferred to Formula One. He’s a playboy, in and out of bed with the usual girls who cling to these types of celebrities.
Paisley is the boss’s daughter, she usually steers clear of men like Jared but will she be able to resist his charms?
Great storytelling, wonderful characterisation, I’m definitely looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Tracie Delaney certainly loves her sport and I loved this foray into the exciting world of Formula One racing with the delectable Jared Kane and the feisty Paisley Nash!
Jared is an arrogant, cocky, gorgeous playboy and has just landed his dream job as a F1 driver in one of the top teams. He's come from nothing and has fought hard over the years for his success. No-one is going to ruin his chance, least of all the beautiful, smart mouthed, seemingly spoilt, rich daughter of his boss, who also happens to be a rookie mechanic in his pit crew.
Paisley is petulant at times, defensive and has some maturing to do, but she's feisty, sassy and is determined to make it on her own terms, in a very dominantly male world and not have everyone think of her as daddies little princess. I loved that she did the chasing. I admit I had a bit of a love-hate feel about her to start with, but like Jared, I didnt stand a chance and she won me over with her tenacity, straight talking, honesty and determination.
These two created all the sparks together and their chemistry sizzled the closer they got to each other. I love sport, I'm not particularly a fan of F1, but it didnt matter, there is enough to demonstrate the electric atmosphere on race day and the hard work and dedication required behind the scenes, but not so much to distract you from what is a sexy, sweet but explosive, humorous, realistic, beautifully written love story. I'm excited for what comes next in this full velocity world as this one kept me glued to the pages!

Amazing. Entertaining. THE BEST ONE YET.
By that I mean that this is this authors best work to date, and i have read every single book she has chalked up thus far.
I loved the characters, Jared and Paisley, who were both sexy, had chemistry and were fun to read about and watch their relationship unfold.
I loved the plot and the theme behind it. I enjoyed reading about the F1 scene. My dad is a huge F1 fan so i sort of knew some of the lingo already but this would be the first time that i had read about it in a book.
I loved the way the author brings the book to life. It’s realism but also a fantasy. Like it has that believability factor but still retains that element of romance that most readers of this genre are looking for.
I absolutely adored it and found it refreshing. This series is definitely one to watch and i cant wait to see it unfold. Highly recommend.

I'm not a F1 fan so while I was looking forward to reading more by Tracie, I wasnt sure this would be the book for me. But omg how wrong could I be? How could I have doubted one of my favourite authors!?
Jared is sexy, hot, arrogant badass driver on his way up in the world, with nothing going to stand in the way of him becoming the best of the best. Enter Paisley... Rich, smart-mouthed, hot-headed but desperate to prove she can make it in a man's world on her own merit, not as daddy's princess. The two of them collide as fast as a racing car out of the pits with non-stop action on and off the racing circuit.
Definitely recommend that you pick up this book but be prepared to put everything in hold til you finish it. I loved this book.

This book got me right in the feels. It's got a super hot, race car driving hero, a strong and feisty heroine who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go and get it, and a story that was impossible to put down. The chemistry between Jared and Paisley is amazing, and their story brought tears to my eyes more than once. The excitement of the racing world shines in the story, and adds to the intensity of the feelings. Grab this one today, and you will not be sorry!!!

Jared is a lovable character who has come from nothing, pushed himself to the limit and succeeded in becoming a top F1 driver.
Paisley is the boss's daughter who needs to prove herself in her own right to get out of her father's shadow and she is a feisty firecracker as a result.
Jared knows she is off limits, but Paisley has other ideas and, despite their differences, manages to wear him down resulting in an excellent read that somehow keeps you on your toes from start to finish.

Jared, the new boy in town meets a stunning young lady with whom he's instantly attracted to but unfortunately she's his boss's daughter!
Paisley wants to shake off the spoilt little rich girl image that Jared has of her.
A love story with some adult themes, which doesn't take away from the story. A great easy read.

The mark of a good book to me is one I think about often after the fact, one that held my interest and kept me turning the pages even after I told myself to stop. But even good books I can put down, especially when I need to sleep.
The mark of an amazing book is one that keeps me up all night.
Friction kept me up all night.
I could not stop reading this book. From the very first page, I was hooked. Normally, it's the hero of a story I love most. Not the case here. Paisley? Yeah, she's the stuff best friends are made of, the kind of woman you just want to hang out with and indulge a little in her feisty energy. I might have a slight crush on her. She's what makes this book extra special. The tension, heat, sexy race car driving, and hot hot hot sex, were all bonuses. Paisley is the primary draw, the confident heroine we all wish we could be, with a spunk that I adored.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Jared, too. He's sex on legs and everything a race car driver should be (which shows fantastic research skills on behalf of the author), but Paisley... she's my girl.
5 Stars. Brilliant. Strongly recommend to those who are fans of sports romance, and even those who are not. This book has it all and then some.

Finally a great story about car racing! I can’t wait for more books in this series!
I grew up in a family of Formula One fans so I was thrilled that this book was about car racing. It’s plenty explained so even if you don’t know anything about that sport you’ll surely be able to follow the story easily. I found it thrilling and was on the edge of my seat a couple of times when Jared was racing. I loved it and could have read a lot more about that actually.
The story had a great pace and was an emotional up and down for the characters mixed with some of their mistakes and jealousy, as well as some very steamy scenes that will have you hot and bothered. Of course Jared’s career demanded a lot from him and made it even harder for them than any normal job would have done. Added to the hardship of their situation was that her father was his boss, which made any attraction between them a lot more complicated.
But the characters were so cute together and I loved their possessiveness of one another while they didn’t even acknowledge their feelings for themselves.
The Story:
Jared Kane's dream came true, he was offered a contract with Nash Racing and was now a driver in the Formula One racing. He didn't always have it easy in life, but with a lot of work and determination he showed everyone who didn't believe in him that he could make it.
Paisley Nash, daughter of Jack Nash who was head of one of the most successful British racing teams in Formula One, grew up among the drivers, engineers and mechanics. She now had a degree in mechanical engineering in her pocket and wanted to prove that she could become one of the best mechanics in a man's world without the leverage of her surname. She was determined to make them see that she wasn't a little girl anymore but a grown woman who’s fully capable of doing a fantastic job in this field dominated by men.
Thoughts:
Paisley was in between the stage of a girl becoming a woman and making a spot for herself in this by men dominated world. I liked her at times but couldn’t warm up to the moments when she acted her young age. It wasn’t really immature but it didn’t feel very mature either. She was still looking for her place in the world and not yet standing firmly planted with both feet in life. Maybe it had to do with how sheltered and protected she was by her father and his team.
Jared Kane was a great character. Although it started out with him as a womanizer, he became a great guy who showed that he was a lot more than only an ambitious racer. He was such a loving, generous, humble and caring guy; topped with some dominance, honesty and fairness that had me all gooey. While he was a loner on the race track, he was quite the family man at home. I really adored him.
I don’t know if the main character of the next book can trump Jared, but the ending of this story made me really excited for his book.

This book right there is my kind of read as being a huge F1 fan this was full of romance and laughter with all the pit stops of believability and Tracie got this spot on with what happens at a race day,i absolutely loved it.
Jared was a indie car racer in the US but wanted to get into Formula One so much that when he got the chance he was determined that nothing was going to stand in his way of being the number one driver.Jared was one badass sexy as sin hot all male driver and he has promised his manager that women are off his radar as all he wants is to do well.
Paisley is the boss's daughter who Jared instantly thinks is a spoilt rich girl who has no brains, but unbeknown to Jared she is part of his team as his mechanic who needs to prove that she can make it this man's world.Loved her feisty character and smart mouth she has her sites set on Jared and this entails plenty of action on and off the circuit that will leave you panting with all the hot chemistry that this couple has in spades and Oh boy there were plenty of smoking hot scenes that will get you all steamed up phew!
I have read all of this authors books and she didn't disappoint at all in this first book in the F1 series,i devoured this book in one sitting and i so hope that there are many more to come.Brilliant.

a new sports series from Ms Delaney, what a treat! and its Formula 1! A bonus treat!
I loved Jared's simplicity, there's no over dramatics or false drama here. its all very real and so believable, definitely a yummy read! can't wait for the next book.
i read it with two friends who dont have English as a first language and they preferred it to the JR Ward book i also recommended! but then they are life long Schumacher fans. The F1 stuff is very well done.
my only note of caution which came courtesy of my reading buddies is that there's a lot of Americanisms in Paisley's speech. i get that the author wants to appeal to a wider US audience and this would equate to greater success but as my friend said 'the British are charming in the way they speak why can't the Americans love the British ways'. Ms Delaney is a really good writer, she can do it! so I'd like to see more knickers and handbags.

Who doesn’t love a sexy alpha who just happens to be a racing driver, a little rich girl who acts anything but and a whole crew who are like very protective brothers. Oh how I loved Jared and Pixie Ley. They squeezed my heart loads of times. Their journey had a few bumps in the road but they got past the finishing post in the end. I loved the whole setting in the racing community.I loved Jared he was exactly how you picture an F1 driver and Pixie Ley (Paisley) she is sassy and the fact that she doesn’t back down and fights for what she wants you can see why everyone loves her. This is a cracking story which I red in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down and I for one cant wait for the next one.

This book had engaging, interesting characters, lots & lots of heat, and I learned a lot about the sport of race-car racing. I didn't know much about motorsports before reading this book, and now I want to learn more. Jared is a self-made man from humble beginnings, who prioritizes his racing career and his family. He finds himself experiencing his first genuine feelings for a woman, and wanting his first relationship. Paisley is self-aware enough to acknowledge her own weaknesses. She's trying to earn respect for her skills as a mechanic, despite being the boss' daughter and being raised with wealth. Getting dual points of view in this book is a big plus as the characters' relationship develops. Recommended! I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

With this book, Tracie Delaney hits the racetrack and takes us on a fast ride with Jared Kane on his move from IndyCar to F1. Jared knows he’s good and doesn’t want anyone or anything to stop him from succeeding. He especially doesn’t want a woman getting in the way of things. Then he bumps into Paisley Nash, his boss’s daughter, and sparks fly. Jared assumes she’s a spoilt little rich kid, but little does he know that Paisley is a mechanic on his team and trying to prove herself in a male-dominated environment.
A great read once again from Tracie Delaney and I look forward to seeing where she takes this series next.

Jared and Paisley were a great couple. It’s not every day you read about a girl falling in love with a boy at first sight, kissing him and then pursuing him. Jared certainly played hard to get but they all eventually cave😉. I do wish I could have seen how Jared’s feelings changed from just sex to love. We are told about it after the fact but not really shown the “falling in love” portion. Paisley was also a bit more pushy/aggressive then I typically like my heroines to be but I’m sure a lot of readers would love her ballsy attitude. The sex scenes were steamy and we get a HFN ending. I would be really interested in getting a Tate story❤️❤️

I absolutely loved this book. I hated that I had to put it down a few times, but that's part of being a parent, lol.
I loved the dynamic between Jared and Paisley. Their instant chemistry that sent sparks flying from the pages, the fact that they tried to stay away from each other but just couldn't. Gawwww, it was so hot.
Tracie did a fantastic job keeping me interested and invested to see where these characters would end up, but most importantly, how they would get there.
This was my first Tracie Delaney book, and I definitely won't be my last. I will have to finish this series for sure and most likely get into a few more.
I loved the dynamic between Jared and Paisley. Their instant chemistry that sent sparks flying from the pages, the fact that they tried to stay away from each other but just couldn't. Gawwww, it was so hot.

Here’s a new man to
look out for. Jared Kane, Formula One driver from USA.
He was moving to London, now he’d signed a contract with Jack Nash, the head of British racing teams.
I know nothing about racing but I really enjoyed reading this story. It’s always good to have a bit of romance in the story too. After all, he sounds lovely.
Really enjoyed reading this. If this is book 1, I’m really looking forward to Book 2, from Tracie Delaney.

I thought that this story was excellent!
It was fast moving and really well developed and such a page turner! I had it read from cover to cover in no time at all! The author had excellent attention to detail and I thought that the characters were great, they all worked really well together.
It was a really good read - and it is another 5 stars from me for this author!

A must for any F1 addicted female looking for a little romance in their life.
A great story written by Tracie Delaney and the first one I have read by her. I enjoyed the story of Paisley and Jared. A racing driver who came from nothing to racing in F1.
Paisley is by far the best character in the book. Her fowardness had me chuckling on a few occasions.
I hope there is a book on Tate and Noah and look forward to reading more.

A brilliant start to a new series, I couldn’t put this book down and read it over an afternoon. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for book 2 in the series.

This brilliant author has outdone herself with this new book!!!!!
Jared Kane has it all. Smouldering good looks, a smoking hot body and a superb racing driver. What more could he want?? The boss's daughter!!. A game of cat and mouse ensues from country to country where messages and newspapers get misconstrued. A terrific book that I tried to last out as long as I could.

Really loved this fantastic book. As I love, love F1 I always been reluctant to read any book with this trope, and this is only 2nd F1 themed I've ever read, but the best!
My first book by Tracie Delaney but definitely not the last! Brilliant, enjoyable writing, fantastic characters and good plot. It has everything a good book needs.

Absolutely brilliant first book in this fast paced Formula 1 racing series. Sexy, fast-paced, witty: all the things we have come to know and love from this author. I defy you not to love it. VROOM VROOM :)

This story of Jared and Paisley is fueled by friction, adrenaline and insanely hot chemistry. I loved the storyline and all of the characters. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Not as heart racing as I hoped
A good book, well written with well developed characters. I liked Jared a bit more than Paisley. She was very hot and cold, yes she understands the rules, but then has a fit when she's supposed to follow them.
