Jenna has been reading and writing historical romance since she was a teenager. A romantic
herself, she has always loved a dark side to the genre, a twist, suspense, a surprise. She tries to
incorporate all of these elements into her own stories. She lives in Virginia with her family and
a small menagerie of pets. When not reading or writing, she indulges her passion for the theatre,
working with local theatres as a director. She often feels she is directing her characters on their

Hell Hath Frozen Over
Annabelle Anders

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
💋💋
Sometimes books just click in a certain part of your mind , like a switch going on, and in that moment you know that this is one of your favourite stories, no matter how long or short , it’s just perfect.
This is one such story, Annabelle Anders has switched me on again this time with a silver fox of a man Thomas Finley ,(Cecily of Hell Hath No Fury’s father) , and what a Christmas angle he is , we all need a guy like him in our lives .
He is struck by love for our heroine Dowager Duchess Loretta , who’s lost all her family in the last few months and feels she has nothing left , now with luck and if she will allow herself she has Thomas .
Can her melt the Ice Queens heart and whisk her away to a snowy love pad .
Get reading , and get a hanky ready .
I’m not ashamed to say Annabelle brought me to tears with her excellent writing yet again .
Awesome!!

BOUGHS OF FOLLY
ANNA BRADLEY
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
💋💋
I love Anna Bradley , she’s got a lovely way in her writing that means once I start her book I can’t put it down.
This is one such book . William Angel is a rake and needs to settle . Especially since his brothers follow his example and his sister is on the edge of ruin .
Penelope is a vicars daughter , now on the stage after being ruined years earlier.
The two find their destiny’s entwined at a house party , and both live are for the good.
Excellent characters and storyline

Historical romances are my forever favourites. I love reading about the lords and the ladies and their blooming romances, under everyones spying noses, which adds a sweet thrill to the budding romance. I mean romances nowadays are so mainstream, saw someone, liked how they looked, called and texted and get married eventually. But 'those' times ? Gosh those people were true romantics, waiting for someone, body and soul reserved for that one person instead of whoever passes a compliment, and doing everything with dignity. Call me old fashioned but i think romance shouldn't be rushed.

Now to the book, my favorite from this anthology was without a doubt 'HIS YULETIDE BRIDE' by Nadine Millard. Sarah and Daniel were so adorable, trying to stifle their love for each other, but failing to do so. I also liked 'BOUGHS OF FOLLY' by Anna Bradley quite a lot.

I loved Tabetha Waite's 'Ways of Love' Series and when she offered me to review this one, i couldn't for the life of me say no (not that i wanted to). Her novella 'TWELVE GIFTS BY CHRISTMAS' is romantic and thought provoking, and i adored the idea of the gifts to woo a lady (oh well, who am i kidding ? Who wouldn't want gifts showered on them?).

All in all, this anthology is worth your money, and will add more spirit to the Christmas festivities.

Buddy read with Becca

This was a freebie on amazon I only tried because it has a story by Anna Bradley, whose book I am really starting to love. Overall, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I'm not in the holiday mood, but there was too much insta-love, meddling and manipulating parents who are just doing awful things to finally marry off their offspring (which other people will definitely find cute, but pisses me off), and five of the stories just didn't work for me. I wish I had only read Anna Bradley's story, which I thoroughly enjoyed!

Jenna Jaxon - Married by Christmas: 1 star
Childhood friends make a bet saying he can find her a husband after two failed seasons. Too silly for my tastes, and oh the parents (and other adults) from hell...

Angelina Jameson - The Christmas wager: 1 star
There's no non-spoilery way to say why I hated this, so:

Nadine Millard - His Yuletide bride: 1 star
Too much drama for my tastes.

Tabetha Waite - Twelve gifts by Christmas: 1 star
Too much silliness for my tastes.

Annabelle Anders - Hell hath frozen over: 1 star
Oh the drama….

Anna Bradley - Boughs of folly: 4.5 stars!
This was fun! Actress meets scandalous rake who is desperate to keep out of trouble after inheriting a title, and therefor *must* stay away from the fiery redhead who haunts his dreams/fantasies. Which, of course, does not happen...

Mind you, I really really REALLY don't like drama, contrived issues that could easily be solved with one honest conversation, and misunderstandings that simply exist to create more drama. So if you like that kind of stuff, go for it. I know I'm in the minority! Seriously. Go look at all the 4 star ratings! I'm just being Grinchy and nitpicky :)

I am going to give this a 5-star rating based on the three stories I have read so far because I am sure the others are going to be just as good. I absolutely love a Christmas anthology and this one is no exception. I love them because I may have a favourite author in the mix, but I am always introduced to new authors as well. More often than not I add them to my 'favourite authors' list as well!

So far in this book, I have read:

Hell Hath Frozen Over by Anabelle Anders:

A wonderful autumn years romance for a widow, the Duchess of Prescott. She's never known true love so when Thomas Findlay shows an interest in her she can't help but feel flattered. He is a wealthy man, but not in her class, but does class really matter when it's a matter of the heart.

Married by Christmas by Jenna Jaxon:

This is a perfect story of two people so busy focusing on something else to see what is right in front of their noses. Marianne Covington is looking for a husband, and her longtime friend William offers to help her, will they ever realise that they are perfect for each other?

The Christmas Wager by Angelina Jameson:

A brother who believes he is dying wants to make sure that at least one of his three sisters is married before he dies. He is pretty sure that his sister, Iris has been in love with his best friend for years. He also believes his friend feels the same way about her. So he decides to give their romance a nudge. Will that nudge be the start of something wonderful?

.........................................

When I have finished the book in its entirety I will update this review. I just wanted to get something written in time for the release of the book to encourage people to buy it as I, so far, am loving it. So watch this space...

Hell has Frozen Over by Annabelle Anders which starts at 5627 and ends at 6982 on my desktop Kindle

Absolutely loved the story! Second chances are great at any age. Our spirits stay young while our bodies age. The urges, fears, and hopes never die. Thank you for recognizing this and putting it into prose.

"At the very least Iris would try to understand Chastain and possibly attempt to change him. To his mind that was an incentive for any woman to fall in love".

I read only the first two tales in this collection, finding them both charming. I especially loved Angelina Jameson's. The rest of them, I'll save for another holiday.

A wonderful collection of holiday stories that will warm you heart. Even though novellas, these is so much packed into each story you feel totally satisfied with the ending.
Hell Hath Frozen Over by Annabelle Anders
Don't you love the title? Having read all of this author's books, I knew I was in for a great story but it was so much more. We find Dowager Duchess Loretta, who has lost everything and after a year is still in morning. He husband and two sons had all passed away and she feels so lonely. She is staying with her nephew who is now the Duke and his wife Cecily, who we saw in a previous story. But Cecily's father, Thomas Findlay, a wealthy industrialist, comes to stay and he is taken with Loretta. I truly enjoyed that both were more mature having had adult children, yet their story was all you could ever wish for in a happy ever after.

Boughs of Folly by Anna Bradley
I was captured by the start of the story with Penelope, a victors daughter, on the stage as a masked actress. She was ruined when she was younger and had no other choice but to find her own way. But as an accident happened on stage, William Angel, came to her rescue. He was a rake but oh so handsome and Penelope had noticed him in the audience many times. But soon their lives became intertwined but she was not of his station and he needed a wife of a high station. But could he resist the attraction they held? There was so much I loved about the story of two people who both needed redemption and the delightful way they found it. Anna Bradley brought them to life.

Married by Christmas by Jenna Jaxon
A story of friends to lovers that made me keep turning the pages quickly. After two terrible seasons, Miss Marianne Covington does not want to go through that again. Her longtime friend Will Stanley has agreed to help her find a husband before Christmas. But Will holds a tendre' for his friend and as she has no luck finding a match, he wanders can her be the one? A heartwarming read that although quick, pulls all the elements of a sweet romance together.

Twelve Gifts at Christmas by Tabetha Waite
What is better than receiving a surprise gift from a secret admirer? Not much but Lady Philomena Wallace thinks someone is just having fun. But when a man from her past appears a lot starts happening.

More to come.

Married by Christmas by Jenna Jaxon
After two miserable Seasons, Miss Marianne Covington is determined not to have a third and enlists the help of longtime friend William Stanley to assist her. Will wagers he can find her a husband before Christmas.
A charming short story of friends to lovers. Will & Marianne have known each other forever & it takes some subtle pushing for them to realise their feelings
The Christmas Wager by Angelina Jameson
Lord Chastain, darling of the gossip sheets, has seven days to turn a lady’s head. Lady Iris, aware of the wager, finds the earl hard to resist. As the pair spend the holidays together, Chastain finds his own head turned and Iris discovers you can’t believe everything you read.
Another charming engaging novella, well rounded characters & well paced story.
His Yuletide Bride by Nadine Millard
Daniel, Duke of Darthford, had pined for Sarah Starling since her disappearance three years ago. When Daniel and Sarah unexpectedly cross paths again, it’s no surprise that sparks fly once more.
Twelve Gifts by Christmas by Tabetha Waite

Hell Hath Frozen Over by Annabelle Anders
The Duchess of Prescott, now a widow, fears she’s experienced all life has to offer. Thomas Findlay, a wealthy industrialist, knows she has not. She’s a duchess & he's a butcher's son but their attraction is apparent. Whilst this is a standalone novella it also wraps up the Devilish Debutantes series perfectly
Boughs of Folly by Anna Bradley
He's a scandalous rake who needs a respectable wife. She's a notorious actress but was a vicar’s daughter. This had everything, unequal classes, a thwarted mistress, a disagreeable lady, a runaway & a play in separate acts that whilst a farce brings home a few home truths, Will & Penelope are perfect for each other but they are from different backgrounds, I loved this short story & read it in a sitting. I hope the rest of the Angels someday have their stories.
6 very well written happily ever after short stories that are ideal for whiling away a few hours on cold winters day or in fact a hot summers day! I preferred some of the stories to others but together a lovely set of novellas

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

This review is for Hell Hath Frozen Over, by Annabelle Anders
Darling, darling and darling!!!

I typically don't like to read out of order.....
but I'm so glad I didn't dodder.
In the theme of Christmas, what a joyous read......
this story turned out to be.
With evergreens, holly and rosemary all about.....
this beautifully written story will no doubt....
be a hit in the eyes of the beholder.

A story of loves lost, the hero, Thomas Findlay and the heroine, Loretta Brookes, Duchess of Prescott, find out that love the second time around can truly be magical, especially when they realize that love knows no boundaries....

I was gifted this advanced reader copy in exchange for my most humble opinion. I leave this review voluntarily.

I'm always up for historical romances so when you throw in some mistletoe, the beautiful white bluster of the season, lords, ladies, dancing, flirting, and some common couple tropes with happy endings, I'm there. The plots are neither unique nor all that surprising, and the characters are all archetypes I've read many times before, but that's okay because it was precisely what I wanted it to be. It's festive, uplifting, and full of the kind of fluffy romance that all gals need to fill up their hearts every now and again.

What a delightful and heartwarming anthology from a group of authors who can bring to life the Regency Era through detailed and accurate descriptions, relatable and enjoyable characters whose chemistry is enticing, and touching stories that melt the heart. Curling up with a hot cup of tea and my blanket, I could not help but be transported back in time to enjoy the Yuletide cheer and merriment that set the stage for these novellas.

Although the stories were short, each author filled the pages with such detail. From childhood friend to lovers, lost lives and second chances, to finish true love later in life, these tales wove together a beautiful collection that regency lover will devour.

I love Christmas and this book definitely brings the magic of the season home! Each author brings couples together with the magic of love. From young couples to older heroine and hero, I throughly enjoyed traveling from London, to house party to Scotland! My favorite was Annabelle Anders Hell Hath Frozen Over. She brings two Fourty-something people together in such a lovely way. Definitely a must read!

Although I don’t really like Christmas that much, I wanted to read this book so much for two reasons: firstly because I feel in love with historical romance books when I was 12/13 years and no matter what I read or like every week, I still go back to them, secondly because I know the authors as being very recommended and I have read some of their work before and really enjoyed it.
This book is perfect if you want to binge in the Christmas atmosphere with such a diverse characters and interesting stories that definitely would find their HEA no matter what they have to do to get there.
I can’t say i have a favourite because i loved them all, I loved the writings, the way each character is described and how their thoughts and feelings are presented.
Well done ladies 😘❤️

This is such an awesome anthology of six Christmas novellas!
Married by Christmas by Jenna Jaxon
The Christmas Wager by Angelina Jameson
His Yuletide Bride by Nadine Millard
Twelve Gifts at Christmas by Tabetha Waite
Hell Hath Frozen Over by Annabelle Anders
Boughs of Folly by Anna Bradley

Each of the Regency Romance Christmas stories has a different story-line and each author brought their A game! Reading this novella would be an excellent way to start off your holiday season! Who doesn’t enjoy true romance being wrapped up in a nice package with a spectacular cover!

These six novellas have something for everyone! Readers will enjoy reading about finding love between a range of society standings and of ages (I really liked the older ranges). I read a different story each night to spread out that holiday cheer and am now looking forward to reading other books by four of these authors, as I previously have only read books by Tabetha Waite and Annabelle Anders.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys, HEA’s, Christmas and Regency Romance.

This review is for Nadine Millard's His Yuletide Bride.

First of all, you know when it's a Nadine Millard book it's going to be a page turner. She has a way of taking you to the Regency era. You can see, hear and feel everything around you as if you were really there. His Yuletide Bride is Daniel and Sarah's story, a great tale of "the one that got away". It's been 3 years since Daniel has last seen Sarah and when he stumbles upon her, he is determined to get answers and not let her out of his sight. The problem is, Daniel isn't getting answers and sometimes that has him jumping to conclusions. This causes tempers to flare, fists to fly and emotions run wild.

I loved this novella, it was joy to read!

I have only read two of the novellas in this book - "Boughs of Folly" by Anna Bradley, and "Hell Hath Frozen Over" by Annabelle Anders, so far, but had to let everyone know what wonderful stories these are.
Anna Bradley's story is a wonderful tale of an Earl who is trying to be more responsible and less of a Rake, and a poor actress who's trying to survive in London. Can a Christmas play be their Christmas miracle?
Annabelle Anders story is part of the Devil's Debutante's series (but not required to read for this story to be understood and enjoyed). A Duchess who is trapped in the role she thinks everyone expects, and a man who works for a living. Can they possibly find their HEA?
Spoiler alert: Yes they can. And how they get there - that's the best part. Well written and very enjoyable. Highly recommend.
I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I gave up after the first chapter of the fifth story. All the authors’ voices sound alike. All the authors need to do significantly more research. All need to learn how to use commonly occurring Regency terms and phrases properly, as well as to avoid using words and phrases that did not exist, and therefore were not used, in the Regency. Most of all, they all need to how to properly address and refer to peers and their wives and children. The titles of and forms of address for dukes and duchesses, in particular, were incorrect as often, or more often, than they were correct.

Additionally, much better editing and copy editing is needed in these stories.

I received an ARC of this book to read in exchange for a fair review. Yuletide Happily Ever Afters: A Merry Little Set Of Regency Romances is exactly that ... a collection of stories by Jenna Jaxon, Angelina Jameson, Nadine Millard, Tabetha Waite, Annabelle Anders and Anna Bradley. The collection includes some second chance at love stories, a twelve days of Christmas story, a couple of stories with older Heroines, a couple of stories with wagers that turn into love stories and a reformed rake story. I enjoyed reading them very much and they are a perfect to read to get you the holiday mood. Most of the stories are on the mildly steamy side. Early Christmas cheer!

A very nice collection of Recency romances in time for the festive season. There are few proofing errors and those in only a couple of the books. On the whole a slightly different take on the genre. Not all of the heros are aristocrats and not all of the heroines are young ingenues which makes it much more interesting!
