Mixed thoughts on this one.

This is the first story I read by this author. The synopsis sounded good and I was in the mood for something different.
This book had some positive aspects and then some issues too.
One of the problems that I had was the fact that the story bounced around and it was sometimes hard to follow. It even seemed at one point that it was a part of a series because you would get bits and pieces of story throughout randomly. Sounded like the author made it up as she went instead of planning out her storyline.
Throughout the first half to 3/4 of the story everything just seemed patched together and several times I thought about just not reading any further. Then it would improve and by the end of the story it actually flowed a whole lot better.
This was supposed to be a love-hate relationship since it starts with a kidnapping. However Stacey is bouncing all over the place and actually likes him so she was OK with being kidnapped, it seemed. Anything for her brother, who we never met except over the phone.
There is also a crime in the book towards the end that never got answered or addressed completely and that was kind of annoying me. Plus, there are inconsistencies that would pop up, like her age. Frustrating.
On a positive note, the author can write very hot scenes and she was very descriptive in that aspect. For me that’s pretty much what saved the book and made it worthwhile. Troy is a sex on a stick and definitely the main reason to pick up this story.

Ok read, if you like lots and lots of sex this is your story. Very in your face at first. No cheating or dislike of the “hero.” Things were strung out and then wrapped up in a hurry. The interesting parts didn’t get talked about and we never heard from his sister after the beginning of the book. It was ok read nothing outstanding from any other biker book.

This is the first book I've read from this author. Overall, it was good. But I found myself disinterested at times. I'm still trying to process if it was just me in a funk or if I just couldn't get in to the story. Hmmmm....
Troy, aka Beast, is pissed. His prospect has disappeared along with his sister who was set to get married to another MC member. Everything about the disappearance is fishy and he doesn't like it. What better way to get his sister back than an eye for an eye, right? Time to kidnap the prospects sister and do a swap. Easy peazy.
Stacey is stressed. Her father just died from cancer two weeks ago, leaving the company business to her and her half brother to run. But there's something wrong with the business. Inventory is missing and the books don't match. Add in the fact that her brother has gone MIA and she's all alone trying to figure things out. Great. What else can go wrong?
Although I understand the snatch and the necessary measures to solve a MC issue, I found this to be a little over the top on the lust/love at first sight. Then you add in the necessary measures Troy has to put in place to keep her safe (yes, the irony of being kidnapped) and things just started to go...eh for me. The story was there, but the substance just wasn't for me. See...this is why I say I'm not sure if I was in a mood or not while reading this. Argh...
Bottom line, it still kept my turning the pages and leaving me curious enough to pick up the next one in the series.

I think I'm in love with Troy DeLance, seriously, Stacey is one lucky woman. I love them both though and they are so perfect together. He is a club enforcer, who is basically trying to save her brother from imminent death. She, on the other hand, is a city girl who comes from a rich family and is used to being pampered. They both have plans for their lives but fate has a different plan for them.
Troy doesn't want to do it but he has no choice. He must kidnap Stacey and make her brother pay for what he did, he doesn't believe in killing the man so this is next best solution. However, not everything goes as planned and he might end up hating himself before this whole ordeal is done with.
Stacey can't believe that the person who was so kind to her when her father died is now kidnapping her. She wants to hate him but is quite unable to do so. Because at the end of the day she understands him, his motivation, and his need to do everything he could for his family. Family is everything. And she needs to worry about hers. There is no way she would let anyone hurt her brother. So they are both at an impasse, something needs to change before they can work their relationship out.
It's a very well-written story, leaning towards dark romance, but it's not quite that. There are many sweet, heartwarming moments in there as well. All is all, it's a great read, well-paced and very interesting. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend to all romance lovers.

A fast paced story, with plenty of sex, drama and a hot alpha male, a stubborn female and the story revolves around the old you time mine, I'll take yours.
All Troy aka the Beast wants is for his younger sister to be safe and to come home. Convinced she's been kidnapped by a pledge to the bike club, Troy is sent to take Stacey his sister in exchange for safe return of his sister. He kidnaps her at night from her bed and takes her to a remote cabin in the swamp. Troy is still on leave from the military spec ops and deciding whether or not to reenlist. Stacey doesn't have a clue where her brother is or anything about his sister. She just got there to Louisiana to help her brother salvage their father's business. He's just passed away and she hasn't even been able to get into the office yet to see what's going on. She doesn't go willingly and puts up a fight even once she gets there. Troy is a little taken with Stacey, washing her clean when she ends up in the bog, he doesn't trust her and yet she seems so innocent. Threatening her by hanging her over his pet alligator gets his sister to call him where he gets the story about why she ran off willingly, how Stacey's brother has been nothing but nice helping her and refuses to come home and she'll call her mother in a few days when she's had time to calm down. Her mother, meaning their mother, and their father is the leader of the bike club. Pa and Georgia couldn't be more different. Pa is a typical older biker and Georgia is a true southern woman. When one of the club members makes a threat against Stacey to get the info out of her and get the daughter home, Troy makes it known, she belongs to him. The guy is a real pig and his name works, Hawg. Meanwhile, Stacey is getting a handle on her father's business, the two employees are less than cooperative and things are adding up, someone is stealing. Things come to a head before she tells Troy. Meanwhile again, Troy explains to Stacey that in order to protect her, they have to appear as a couple. There are a few who remain skeptical and Troy can't emphasize enough that things have to look real. So they go ring shopping. She has Mom and Pa over for dinner... the whole nine yards. That is when they aren't getting busy which is about every other page at least. Never thought I'd say too much sex, but this was a little OTT for me, but it fit seemed to fit Troy's persona. Stacey I wasn't sure about. Nonetheless, it's a quick read.
It's got it's good points and Troy is funny at times. I liked Stacey. The woman had a backbone. These days that seems to be getting harder and harder to find in a book. Along with a killer cover which this one has!

Snatched was a really fun, quick and sexy read. It was a fantastic opposites attract MC read that had heart and sass and was full of hot sexy times. Troy and Stacey were fantastic together and I was hooked on every word!
When Stacey is kidnapped by Troy Delance, the Slayers MC Enforcer, in an act of retaliation for a crime committed against his MC, she immediately has a sizzling connection with the broody and surly man. I loved her sass and the way she gave as good as she got. While the banter was fiery and the sexytimes were scorching, I did feel like the story was rushed at times and felt like we were just thrown into the story. All in all though, this was a great read and I look forward to reading more in this series!

This is a steamy, sensual story, yes with lots of sex and it is a biker story and these guys are hard and can be very tough, they have names that are different, they really don’t like using their own names, but in this case Troy DeLance known as Beast has a heart a big one as he goes after his prospect’s sister Stacey for revenge and things are going to turn upside down for them both.
Stacey Martin is in New Orleans trying to sort out her father’s business after his death, Stacey has lived most of her life in New York with her Mum and Step-Dad, but she is determined to make something of her life and keep the business running, but of course life doesn’t always go to plan when her brother Brian (Animal) has done a runner with the daughter of the president of the biker club The Slayers, and she ends up in the hands of the gorgeous Beast, the enforcer from The Slayers.
Troy has returned from the middle east and is unsure where his future lies, but when his sister is kidnapped he goes out for revenge and taking another person’s sister for ransom is what he does, but he never thinks that his body will react to her the way it does, and as he gets to know her he realizes that it is not only her body he wants but this young woman is smart and classy and feisty. He takes on protective duty with her when there could be danger for her and their sex lives sends sparks through the universe.
MS Ross knows how to bring her characters to life on the pages not only with the steamy sex but with conversations that let us get to know them, and some lively arguments that lead to some sensual scenes, seeing their emotions and feeling them as these two strong people make their way to a HEA that has a lot of hurdles to cross making out with a biker is not always plain sailing, and meeting Beast’s pet was a bit hair-raising, if you are into erotic and moving stories then this is one for you.

This is a first time author for me and she gave me everything I want and expect in a biker read; lots of down and dirty sex, a totally badass biker who also happens to be in the military and the son of the club President, and the club who know how to work and party hard. Troy was a true alpha with a mission and that was to kidnap Stacey so that he could do an exchange with his prospect, Animal/Brian who has gone rouge and taken his sister with no word as to where they are. All Troy wants is to get Lizzie back home and then Stacey can be released. Stacey couldn’t believe the man that once helped her and her family out could actually kidnap her making demands and threatening to throw her to the alligators.
There is a lot at play in Snatched from the closed off biker to a woman who not only wants to stand on her own but wants control over her life. Hmm, control over a biker? I’m not sure how that will work especially if he has the upper hand. I’m hoping that there is more to come on The Slayer’s MC.

Tough one to review. I really like the premise of the story. A kidnapping to revenge a kidnapping. Troy and Stacey are interesting characters and they definitely have chemistry. Problem was the story just didn't flow well. It seemed to jump from topic to topic and had an overall rushed feel to it. There were also holes in the story with some things left unresolved. I found that surprising coming from such an experienced author.

In typical Cathleen Ross style, this book is sexy and steamy and will leave you breathing hard. Revenge is not best served cold - it's best served hot - very hot indeed.

The plot was very jumpy, which made things difficult to follow. I was quite confused at certain aspects of the story, which made me think that I had been dropped into the middle of a series without having read the preceding books! The sex scenes were very well done, but happened much too soon for my liking in the plotline, and thus were somewhat unrealistic.
The characters were seemingly contradictory as well as also being slightly unbelievable. One minute Stacey's a smart, crafty, and independent woman, then the next she's a "fall at the feet of the big strong man because he's the only one that can give me orgasms" type. Troy/Beast was just an a-hole all around, and I never grew to like him.
Unfortunately, this is not a good example of an MC romance, and I won't be recommending it to others.

This story was pretty Good! It Has suspense, Secrets, steamy sex scenes and MC!

Stacy is Animal's sister. Her father died and she inherited his shop altogether with Her brother. Will she manage to help Her brother? Nas świat are those feelings that she started to feel?
Characters were intriguing and allowed me to make connections with them. I Would love to read about other MC brothers.
I liked The idea - enemies to loves with kidnapping and MC characters. Overall Good 4 stars book that will be a Great entertainment

This is a raunchy read with lots of sex! The tension between the characters engages you into the story. If you're after a spicy read, then this is perfect!

Troy/Beast was spying on Stacey for payback. Troy was gonna grab Stacey until her brother Animal.Brian brought back Troy’s sister Lizzy. She had been missing for two days her apartment was a mess there had been a struggle there. Troy belonged to the Slayers MC and he was the enforcer. His father was Razor and he was the President. He was getting a hardon and he was on the club business. Stacey was more like a siren then a virgin. Both he and Animal was a prospect for the Slayer MC. So it didn’t matter Animal’s half sister jolted him like a slug from a gun. Troy had met Stacey two weeks ago when he did a favor and got cancer drugs for her and Animal’s dad his cancer drugs. Her dad had since passes away. Beast was his club name and it fit him to a T. It didn’t matter he was going to grab the girl and trade her for Lizzy. He fingered the gun on his hip. Animal’s betrayal of their friendship by snatching Troy’s own younger sister Lizzy and making her his sex toy. Animal deserved a slow, torturous beating- if not worse. The M C didn’t hold with unnecessary violence since Razor and then the club started making money legitimately no more illegal businesses. Troy had brought Animal in so it was up to him to fix the problem. First he had to draw the jerk -Animal- out from where he was hiding. Animal and Stacey were close so Troy had to use her to get his sister back hen beat the hell out of him. So taking Stacey would get Lizzy back. And animal would get Stacey back. Troy was gonna wait another twenty four hours but then changed his mind and took her that night. Troy had recently returned from a three month mission with the U S Army Ranger Corp. and Troy hadn’t slept with a woman and Troy wanted to have sex with Stacey but not one blonde hair would be touched. Animal had told Troy Stacy's mom was a trust fund N Y socialite-a much different world then Troy came from and had no interest in. That type of girl had to have more than mindless sex which was all Troy would be interested in. Aimal had been warned by the MC Animal . Stacey had asthma and it didn't like New Orleans humidity one little bit Stacey always had her inhaler close by. Stacy and Brian/Animal had inherited their father's ailing car and motorcycle parts business and she needed her brother at the store. She made a promise to their dad to get the business back on track. Stacey was determined to get to the bottom of the thefts plaguing the little shop. There wasn’t much Troy didn’t know about kidnapping, fighting and killing thanks to special ops in the Army.But Troy would never knowingly hurt a woman. After he had Stacey and ws driving to the cabin in the swamp Troy noticed Stacey was fighting for every breathe. He stopped the car and asked her what was wrong and he took the tape off her mouth she said asthma inhaler and he stopped and he stopped and broke into a pharmacy and got her what she needed locking the door back up with no alarms alerted. Troy figured he would only have Stacey with him a few days before the swap would be made. But the cabin was hard to find and difficult for strangers to navigate. He and Stacey would never be disturbed. Troy told Stacey Lizzy had been kidnapped by her brother as Lizzy was newly engaged and would never leave like that. Stacey attracted him in a way like no other woman had ever done. Which met Troy had to be careful. Troy had wanted to go to college but his father insisted he follow family tradition so Troy enlisted. The mechanics training the Army gave him there was nothing he couldn’t install or fix. Troy decided not to reup after this tour of duty was over he had already seen and done way to much in his special ops missions. Troy didn’t do attachment of any kind for any length of time.
I loved this book. I loved Troy and Stacey together and how they interacted together and how fiesty Stacey was It took me two settings to read this book as I didn’t want to put it down. I loved how Troy was determined to protect Stacey even from his MC and his father. I loved t when Razor said nothing would happen to Animal as long as Lizzy returned. This was a good MC read it was easy yet had just enough drama and romance in it. I loved Troy had been in the Army for ten years even though I didn’t care for he had to do once he joined the Rangers team after the first four years and other men in the Slayers had been in the service. I loved Razor got all the clubs business legit and didn’t want a lot of violence. I happily couldn’t find anything to criticize in this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book. I highly recommend it.

I have been in the mood for a good dark romance lately, and when I saw this dark MC romance I thought it would be a perfect fit to scratch my dark romance itch, but sadly this did not happen in this story.
This story starts with the enforcer of the MC watching a young girl outside her window. He already thought this girl was hot, so when he watches her get undressed and ready for bed he just winds up wanting her in ways that have nothing to do with what he is there for. He reminds himself that he needs to kidnap her and use her as an exchange to her brother to get his own sister back. Of course this takes a turn after he does successfully take her prisoner.
I will say that I liked the heroine’s attempt to get away from him. She is taken to a swamp where she manages to land a good kick before he could get her out of the SUV. She runs and ditches her clothes to cover her body in the mud of the swamp in order to hide. This does not work and he quickly catches her.
That was sadly where the story’s entertaining elements stopped. That same night she opens up to him and actually asks for sex with him saying she trusts him more than any other man she has been with, forgetting all the circumstances surrounded gets their situation.
Sadly this story turned into an erotica with some dark elements in it which was not only not what I was expecting it was done in a way that made it feel like the heroine was more than ok with what was going on.
This book got a low writing quality from me not because of spelling or grammar, but because of the numerous contradictions it makes. For example at one point the dark hero was thinking the heroine is untrained and an essay target, then thinks she’s smart, catches things no one else can, and might actually have fighting skills then on the next page were back to her being entitled and weak in his mind. The heroine has similar moments.
Overall:
This book had way to many contradictions and the heroine gives into the dark hero so fast it causes the believability of the story to go way down as well as takes away the suspense. This book really should have been labeled a dark erotica rather than making it seem like it was supposed to be a dark MC romance.

Snatched by Cathleen Ross is the first in the Outlaw Warrior series. The main theme of the book is how far you’re willing to go for those you love.
Stacey is stubborn, willful, and sassy. She has a degree in business administration and with her father’s recent passing she is now in charge of his auto parts store. She decides to start by going over the books and realizes that the inventory and invoices don’t add up. Could it be a mistake or something more?
Troy was born into the Slayers MC. His sense of loyalty runs deep. He’s an Army Ranger and doesn’t put much importance in emotions. He’s confident with the ladies but doesn’t let sex turn into a relationship. His MC is now legit with its ownership of a few bike shops and nightclubs.
Troy’s younger sister is missing and he believes Stacey’s older brother Brian is behind it. What better way to get her back than to snatch Brian’s sister and get to the bottom of things? Can he ignore the burning attraction between them and keep things professional or does he give in to his body’s yearnings and let one touch lead to another.
The details truly bring the characters to life and create beautiful imagery. Their passion is a fire, raw and magnetic. I was drawn to both the main characters because of the fierceness with which they protect those they love. Their chemistry heats up with every look and caress. Some of their banter seemed a little unnatural and choppy to me. The storyline had a few pacing issues, some parts happened too quickly while others seemed to drag a bit. The side characters were fun and a little mysterious, keeping me guessing about what could possibly happen next. The twists kept coming and I couldn’t wait for more. I would recommend for anyone that enjoys an MC or protective alphas and sassy females.

October 9, 2018Snatched was a fun, quick, engaging read. It was everything I was hoping for with a super hot biker and a feisty chick. And let me tell you there was no shortage of steamy sexy sexy between Stacey and Troy. "He ate her like she was ice cream melting in the sun and he didn't want to miss a drop. He licked every part of her he had access to with a feral craving." YUM!!
There were certain moments where I wasn't sure how I felt about how forgiving Stacey was with Troy. I think I would have let him sweat it out a little longer before jumping back in with him. Also, I am hoping that this story will continue with another book because there were some parts that I felt could use some clarifying. I was left pondering questions about Stacey's father and his store and questioning some situations between Stacey's brother and Troy's sister Other then that, it was fun seeing where their relationship went and the family dynamic between Troy and his mother and father.

Club Enforcer Troy DeLance is hellbent on revenge eye for an eye and all that so he kidnaps his prospect's sister as payback for a betrayal. If he has to tie Stacey Martin to his bed to make sure she stays, so be it. All the better if she likes it.Stacey will do anything to save her brother. Even if it means surrendering in ways she never imagined to her beastly kidnapper. But as their relationship heats up neither realizes that someone else is plotting a far more deadly payback.When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Cathleen Ross is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.

My first book by Cathleen Ross and I would want to read more of her work just to make sure my first impression is not the only thing I have for the future. Don't get me wrong, the book was well done and I enjoy reading it but... I think this author has potential at some level.
The characters were interesting, mostly because I loved the premise of the story: my sister for your sister. It sounds kind of simple but it wasn't I liked that.
My problem with the characters is that I felt the biker act a little crazy at times. It fits with his mean guy kind of look but it did not click with me. At least he admitted he was an a$$hole.
The female protagonist was strong but weak. Nobody is perfect but I liked her the most between them because he was just so close to being too much at times that I just couldn't side with him.
I have my doubts when it came to the first encounter between them but I don't feel, deep down, that it wasn't consensual. It could be seen like that so, I wouldn't be surprised is someone was offended by that encounter.
My favorite parts where when the President of the MC and his wife were in the scene. OMG, that was just so funny and cute to watch, at least for me.
Writing wise I think the author did a great job. I did not find any grammar errors or anything like that, and the vocabulary was simple enough that it was easy to follow. The flow of the story was good and it wasn't cut, for me, at any point during the book.
The twist of the sister left me with interest in the next book. I'm very interested in seeing how this works out.
I would recommend this book to those that love biker romances, just a reminder that this is fiction and that some roughing around might ensue.

If you enjoy a well-written biker romance with hot sex, this book is definitely for you! Cathleen Ross delves into the dynamics of the biker gang world, which is one that was all new to me. There's lots of chemistry between the hero and heroine and of course, loads of steaming hot sex. The hero proves he is prepared to resist the expectations of the gang to protect and claim the woman he loves and the author delivers a HEA ending. I see that Cathleen Ross has written another biker book called "Rough and Ready", so that's another one to check out if you're a fan of Biker romances.

Troy is just a delightful man, “I have two urgent desires at the moment. One is to eat, the other’s to eff. I plan to satisfy one of them. Your choice.” Troy knows how to irritate his woman, “don’t wriggle too much, princess. It’s making me incredibly horny. I haven’t had *** since this morning.” I liked this book, I loved this book, but Troy needed to work on his game at times.

If you love strong men and even stronger women in your books this is for you. I really liked Stacey she was so determined to fix her dad's business. I love how she stood up to Troy - even if she caved eventually. Well, he was hot. There were times when I really questioned Troy's true character and was relieved at the end when he made up for his hot-headed decisions earlier in the story.

Snatched is my first book by author Cathleen Ross, This story all about Troy and Stacey, Oh Boy they has sizzling HOT chemistry that was off the charts. This had everything you want from action, SEXY HOT BIKERS, OMG the steamy sex scenes. A Must Read, I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley & Entangled Publishing.

Fast paced, action packed story with an interesting storyline, I liked Troy and Stacey, their chemistry was off the charts. This had me turning the pages as fast as i could read.
