This book gives a pretty good introduction to serverless development in general, but mostly to OpenWhisk and its capabilities, especially when using the IBM Cloud.
I would recommend this to everyone who is trying to get their toes wet with serverless development and is looking for an introduction to work with OpenWhisk.
