Morris Fenris loves to let his imagination paint pictures in a wide variety of genres. His current book list includes everything from Christian romance to an action-packed Western romance series, to inspirational and Christmas holiday romance.
Better prepare for a reading marathon, because these books flow seamlessly from first to last. A town that takes care of their own, starting with a famous singer, tired of life on the road. Coming home to reevaluate life, love, family. And what a family! Three siblings. Three very different personalities. All strong. All not really looking for love, but life seems to have other ideas....much to the delight of their parents. Definitely a series that has it all. A bit of mystery, a bit of intrigue, some sibling rivalry, a dash of drama and a lot of love. Faith in action. Lived, not preached or heavy handed. All three are great reads.
I am so grateful that Morris has written on human trafficking and the effects it has on the victims. You would think the USA would be exempt but we have people who are more dedicated to money than the value of a person’s life. We are seeing this in North Texas today. The characters all come with their own flaws but each works through them allowing God to be glorified. Family is very important along with building great friendships! A very fun book even with the serious matter. You will be glad you took the time to read it.
I enjoyed the stories very much!Human trafficking is a terrible problem in our country!I have three wonderful grandchildren in Maryland, and I always pray that God will keep them safe from this happening to them! These stories told about this terrible problem without going into much detail!I would recommend this book to all who love to read clean Christian books!
I loved this series and you combined family values with things that are truly happening in this world today. I read a lot of books and some touch on human trafficking, but you portrayed without going into a lot of detail the pain and healing it takes to bring those rescued back to life. I so enjoyed each of the three books that I was happy to read and sad to see them finished.
The stories were great, especially in dealing with women who have been used and abused via human trafficking. Almost too difficult to read parts because of the suffering these women undergo. The author does need a better proofreader, especially in use of pronouns (I/me; he/him and who/whom)!! This was a very obvious need in the (fantastic) third book!
I loved following this talented family. Their struggles, experiences, and love matches were sweet. The big family was very real and the family atmosphere was what families desire. They made you want to come along on the journey. This southern girl would love the mountain experience.
These were wonderful stories. I enjoyed how the author brought this family and their ups and downs to light. I fell in love with all the main characters and was so happy when they all found exactly what they were looking for. These are my kind of stories. I read "fiction" for a happily ever after ending. Real life doesn't always provide, but stories can.... This author did a sensational job of bringing everything together and giving joy to everybody.... truly enjoyed... Terrific.
I enjoyed the continuation of this family of characters and how the author wove the story among the 3 books.. Excellent writing!!! Plot line has something for everyone.
These were great books, some because of the material harder to read than the others. I love the families and the relationship the siblings had. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
The only criticism I have for this series of books is that it is so predictable. Each romance is exposed immediately in a book. Also, there is a lot of repeated lines. A good clean Christian romance.
This series was inspirational and I loved how each love story unfolded. I also loved how it was informational about the reality and horribleness of human trafficking.
The story lines were good, grammatical errors notwithstanding. Who edited these books? Even with the errors, I still recommend reading these. They were clean and touching.
Home to you. I truly enjoyed this first book of the series. You felt like you belong with the characters in the book. I haven't enjoyed this good of a book in a long time.
There is some tough subject matter covered in the plots in these books. The characters are well crafted and develop as the series progresses. I found myself rooting for each couple.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series & had trouble putting it down. The characters were very real & the storylines inspiring. I heartily recommend them!
