The Sunday School Teacher
No! I wasn’t raised in the church. It didn’t happen until my mother fell ill and God took her away from me for no reason at all. Cancer, they say. But I needed to hear it from God, so I began talking with him every day until my friends started calling me crazy. At that point, I started removing myself from the “IN” crowd and became a loner. I left Augusta, Georgia a little over a year after I graduated from high school and took a Greyhound bus to Atlanta. From that point, I lived in a women’s shelter and joined a pretty decent church. Then, I found my position as the Sunday school teacher. I loved working with the youths. That was until I met a man. The man that my Pastor had warned me about. He knew him so well because they were brothers from the same womb. I should have turned away then. God was trying to tell me something. Instead, I fell into his powerful arms. Honestly, I didn’t see anything wrong with falling in love in church. Then, at the blink of an eye, I was standing in the courtroom, my eyes were filled with tears, and I was frightened. The jury had been deliberating for the last few hours, only to find me guilty on all counts. The judge wasn’t light on me either. He sentenced me to “Life” in a Georgia state women’s prison. And that’s when I stopped believing in God. Annabelle definitely was a woman of God. Her life seemed to change overnight. Storyline was fulfilling in describing her trials, tribulations & the power of prayer. Once I started this book, it was difficult to stop reading. All characters played a significant role. Daisy Mae was a positive force & someone Annabelle was lucky to have met. Pastor James spoke the truth & interaction with Jamal was a lifelong lesson. Looking forward to reading next part.

Great inspirational read
This book really spoke to my spirit. Not only during my incarceration but now with my current struggle I needed this story. Annabelle’s faith and strength is nothing sort of Amazing and I’m definitely recommending and sharing this book to remind us all just how Awesome God is and how we need to spread his word.

Loved it!!!!
This book has blessed me today and have given me a new found love for my family. I appreciate the twist and turns and circumstances of Annabelle’s life, for we sometimes take life for granted and stray away from God to participate in things that we know goes against everything we know. I was there before and I thank God for stepping in and took me out of the situation before it was too late. Thank you so much for this wonderful read and I look forward to reading your next book.

It was ok.
This book started out a little slow for me. It was kind of predictable in some places and seemed rushed alone in other places. I am looking forward to see what happens with Annabelle and the Pastor.

This was a great book. I really enjoyed this book I love Daisy Mae she was truly my girl. I love the Annabelle she had her faith and she was stead strong in it. If you don’t have faith you don’t have anything. I can’t wait for part two. This book took me through all types of emotion whenever I think of god and his words I get emotional so this book put slit of life situation in prospective and all I can say is this was a great read. I recommend this book to everyone to read it was definitely on point. Great job Cole Hart great job.

This is my first read by this author. I enjoyed this book so much. Annabelle loss her mom to cancer, but she wanted to hear from God. She started talking to God every day about taking her mom. After graduating from high school Annabelle took a bus to Atlanta. Annabelle lived in a woman’s shelter and joined a church. Annabelle became a Sunday School Teacher and she loved it. Annabelle met the pastor’s brother and pastor advised her to stay clear of him. Annabelle did not listen to the pastor and was sentenced to life in prison. Awesome story, waiting for part 2..

Blessed
When I tell you this book gave me hope. We all go through things, BUT if we keep our Faith and stay under Gods will, we can and will accomplish so much. This story reminded me that everything won't be easy but if we stay focused it'll be worth it! Great read Cold Hart

God is Good
This book touched my heart in so many ways. As a Christian, it is important to remember that Satan is always busy and wants us to lose our sight of God. But God is so faithful that He never gives up on us. Annabelle trusted God but she allowed Satan into her life when she ignored the pastor's warning. She will be an overcomer because God is in her and she is witnessing to others. Can't wait for part two. Her testimony will be great just like Cole Hart's testimony is. Praise be to God!

Awesome!!!
Even though I've been a Sunday School teacher myself i stopped reading it because it seemed slow and not gangster enough, but I was drawn back into it. I must say by the time she went to prison I was in tears. I knew from the first yime he yelled at her in that car when thing's didnt go right in Colorado, he wasn't right. A lot of thing's touched hom for me as far as keeping the faith anyway, no matter what happens. I really loved this one. Mr. Hart has outdone himself this time and I can't wait for part 2. I didn't even realize the no cussing until the end. That was really special for me.😍😍😍😘

I've read a lot of other books by this author, but this was not my favorite from him. Not a bad read, but didn't hold my interest through most of it and seemed slow. Maybe you have to be a certain type of person or have a certain level of faith to be enthralled by it. This just wasn't my cup of tea, but might be for some other people. I won't be getting the sequel myself.

Different and Good
This book!!!! I really wasn’t expecting things to play out the way that they did.. Poor Annabelle just can’t catch a break and although the road seemed dark, she maintained her faith in God.. I truly enjoyed this book!!!

Well worth the wait!!!
This book was an eye opener on how life really goes. Annabelle was dealt a cold hand in life but through it all she keep her faith in GOD!!! Can’t wait for part 2.

Good to my soul
I have read several of your books and I enjoyed them all. This on right here caught my eye because of the title. It was nothing like I thought but that's not a bad thing. This book was so good to my soul as I was pulling for Annabelle. She is a true faithful woman of God even through the good, bad and ugly and that's how we're supposed to be as Christians. Giving God all the glory during the worst days of Life not just during the good. I can't wait for the rest. I hope Ms. Daisy gets to see her free. Great job! Keep writing.

Good read.
I surprisingly enjoyed this book. It was a good story laced with gems and life lessons. I am definitely going to look for more titles from this author and waiting for part two of this story.

Refreshing Read
What I mean by refreshing is it was nice to come across a book where the N and B words were not the main words used. Having said that, let me say this if you don't take nothing else from this story take this from it, "If someone's FAMILY tells you to stay away from them, that they are not good for you, PAY ATTENTION". Carl this was by far one of the best reads I've read in a long time one where there is also a valuable lesson to be learned while learning that we are stronger than we think. I look forward to reading the second part, I can't wait to see how Black Girl does and how Jamal comes back and tries to mess up Annabelles life some more. I pray Daniel is not someone else she has to survive, if he is make it interesting lol.

Loved It
I am speechless Cole Hart. I never read a book like this before and I have been reading from since I was a little girl. I can definitely relate to everything in this book. I can't wait to see what happens to Annabelle. I hope she gets released from prison. She has endured a lot. She truly is a good person. She made a mistake but God does work wonders. I really can't wait for part 2. I know it is going to be a great read also.

When you have Faith inGod
I really enjoyed this book. The storyline caught my attention from the beginning to the very end. There are many lessons to learn from what happens to the characters especially Annabelle who is living the life of a godly woman but the enemy has thrown a distraction of a wolf in sheep clothing Jamal the Pastor's brother to lead her astray. Sometimes we see something that is not good for us but because God gives us a free will, we make wrong choices and suffer the consequences of that choice.
I felt so many emotions of happiness, sadness, shock, anger, forgiveness and love.
I recommend this book to read. I am looking forward to to part 2 to see what happens next with Annabelle.

This book had me in tears
I loved this book from start to finish. Just reading this book moved me. I’ve can’t say that I have ever been incarcerated but i can say that I was someone that was on the wrong path in life and I turned to drugs. It was nobody but god that saw me thru and restored me. Author Cole Hart outdid himself with this book. This is by far one of the best books I’ve read in 2018. I can’t wait for the next installment because I’m dying to know what happens.
