DESIGNED FOR LOVE:
Maggie Winters has always been unlucky in the love department. But that's fine by her. She's too busy focusing on her career and doesn't have time for a man to turn her life upside down. Until Jason Briggs waltzes into the picture, making her question everything she thought she wanted. Will Maggie open her heart to him and realize she was designed for love?
Loved this emotionally thrilling, heartwarming and engaging journey filled with exciting charters, witty banter and undeniable passion...... was a great read from beginning to end and a great addition to this highly entertaining series. Really loved this adventure and look forward to more!
This is a story where Jason and Maggie meet 10 years ago as young kids under a tree and spend the summer getting to know one another. Jason has become very successful with his fashion line and helps other designers so when he gets the chance to see and help Maggie he takes it. When Maggie meets Jason she does not recognize him but sees a sexy grown man. These 2 flirt, talk business, make business decisions, create new designs and get to know one another on a personal level. Jason knows he will help Maggie with her business and wants to be a part of her life so he makes plans to make this happen. When outside forces make moves to create havoc Maggie feels heartbreak unsure if she’ll ever recover from. Maggie has one special family that sees through what’s going on and does what they can to help her along the way allowing Jason a chance to show Maggie what he’s capable of doing for her love! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A cute romance that had moments of hilarity and some anguish. Maggie and Jason have a history, only Maggie doesn't realise it at first. When he comes back into her life, he is no longer the boy she once knew but a grown man in every sense of the word. Jason thinks to lend Maggie a hand in starting up her new business, but the more time he spends with her, the more he realises that she is responsible to a large extent for the man he has become and he wants to get to know the adult Maggie better. Unfortunately, there is a fly in the ointment, and it takes all the goodwill he has built up with the Winter family to get around the hurdles that have been thrown in his path. The book is generally well written and romantic and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
5 stars I received a free copy of the novel Designed for Love : Willow Valley book 8 by Christine Kingsley and this review was given freely. Heartwarming with a close knit family, this romance is set in the modern day but began with a chance encounter 10 years ago. A perfect complement of creativity and organizational skills is found in this touching novel featuring the last unmarried Winters sibling, clothing designer Maggie Winters, and New York fashion magazine and clothing line designer/CEO Jason Briggs. Jason returns to Willow Valley as Maggie is opening her shop where a palpable attraction leads to a relationship which almost ends when jealousy and a vindictive assistant reveal secrets.
This was a cute romance. I loved that Jason and Maggie met when they were teens and bonded over their love of drawing. He’s very successful for someone so young. And she’s done well for herself too with the support of her family. It was great to catch up with the rest of the Winters’ siblings and the sisters as usual were meddling in a loving way and so funny. His cousins who own the resort in the Rockies would fit right in with the Winters’ family with their bantering and support. I wish I could plan a trip and visit these fictional places where people are nice and welcoming. There was plenty of humor and sweet sexy romance in this latest installment from the Willow Valley series.
For two characters that have no interest in having a relationship Maggie and Jason just can’t help themselves. Their instant chemistry and the way they compliment each other is hard to resist. If only they listened to their hearts not their heads. This easy to read falling in love story has just enough angst, a couple of twists, and a whole lot of heart. I love going back to Willow Valley for it’s small town intimacy and the mellow lifestyle, and revisiting the Winters clan.
Maggie is a fashion designer whose dream of opening a boutique is about to come true. Jason is not only a fashion design, but he runs a fashion magazine and was inspired by a dress she designed and is interested in featuring her in his magazine.
As they spend time together Jason realizes that he wants them to be partners both personally and professionally, but will the machinations of others destroy the relationship that they have building?
This is a heartwarming story about love and family that doesn’t disappoint.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Christine Kingsley, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this romantic story about Jason and Maggie. They met when they were teens not knowing that ten years later that would be the beginning of their love story. They had trust issues they had to overcome if their love was going to survive. Even though this book is part of a series, it is a standalone, and I highly recommend it.
An entertaining well written romance. This engaging storyline has slow burn romance with drama, angst, humor, and hurdles through an incredible journey to a great ending. The characters are interesting with undeniable chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed and look forward to more from this amazing author.
This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining story line. The author brings a slow burn romance between Maggie and Jason and weaves a sweet story filled with drama and humor. It's not all smooth sailing on their journey to love. Another great book to the series!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This is about Maggie a fashion designer who has to over come a wrong against her. And Jason who has a fashion magazine who wants to run a section on Maggie's fashions. They both have struggles that they work through and family is there for support.
Sink into feel good read. You have all the things to keep you reading, heart, family, humor, and romance. A great stand alone addition to the series and would recommend. I received a free copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this story and all the twists and turns the author put in the right spots to make this a great book. To back there wasn't more siblings this was a fun family to write about and read about. Great job.
Wonderful story of Maggie and Jayson and their journey to love. Both characters were lovable, funny and fell hard and quick. Enjoyed the family support. Good feels from this one.❤️
