Tired of living under his friends’ shadow, Benjie sets up his own investigation company. He’s in a serious relationship. Will and Laura take his orders for once. But life is never that simple. A routine case leads them back to Will’s past and reveals a serious threat to the kingdom. Benjie might not be a fighter by nature, but he’s willing to die by his friends’ sides nevertheless.
Laura is more concerned with keeping her friends safe than revenge. Benjie is too deep in a toxic relationship to heed her warnings. When the queen is kidnapped, they are called in to find her.
