An odd volume I'd probably give it 3.5 stars, mostly because the story was a bit disjointed and scattered, or just the sideplot wasn't that engaging and just standard Kazuma shenanagins. I like how the volumes aren't cookie cutter and do try new things, be it just a cool antangonist. And Konosuba isn't really a big story based series, but I'd still like the side plots to be at least intriguing.

The antangonists in this volume didn't feel cookie cutter, nothing too special, but intresting enough. Slyvia, the leisure girl, the orcs, etc. The manga mostly revolves around monster fighting as the story part. The monster fighting is pretty short and nothing too exciting, more for comedy. Which the comedy is pretty good in this volume.

However there's also more focus on Megumin and Kazuma while Darkness and Aqua get pushed to the side. They try to push a romance on Megumin and Kazuma, which is fine, but the way it blends with the raunchy comedy is really weird, like Yuiyui pushing them to get together, is kinda suspicious. This volume tries to be more wholesome I guess? But without loosing the comedic theming and absurd humour of the comic. I did like how Kazuma actually acts out of character to be wholesome. So yeah idk how to feel, basically just a weird volume but still alright.

Another good volume in a cute but strange series. At this point I struggle to write a decent review for the individual volumes so please refer to first few volumes as well as (once I have finished) the final volume in the series.

I love this series, but this toxic masculinity crap kills me. There’s a girl in my bed so, being a guy, I’m helpless not to molest her in her sleep?? I call bullshit ten times over.

Some funny stuff but also some really uncomfortable scenes including intended rape of a 14yo. I'm probably going to keep reading but if it keeps making me feel gross I'll have to stop.
