Excellent zombie apocalypse book from the military’s point of you.
This is another excellent book in the series, I’m glad to read AZA book from the military‘s point of view. Most of the time in zombie apocalypse books the military is over powered, underwhelmed, and has no control or coordination. This series is very realistic, you get to know the characters, and their actions. Sometimes you want to slap them because of their rigid military way of thinking, which sometimes makes things difficult for them. The author of this series paints a very realistic picture where mistakes Are made and people die. I suggest people who are interested in the zombie genre read this book.
Do yourself a favor. Go buy book one of this series. Before you go do that, you might as well buy this one as well because you will be back in less than a month to buy it as this is the most realistic post-apocalypse, military thriller out there. Come back here and thank me, please, once you have had a chance to read the series because I promise you, you’ll be blown away and you will say “Thank goodness I read that review and read the series!!”
I really like this series but I was getting a little tired, so many characters / stories. Tired of the constant moving between stories. Finally at the end some of the stories are starting to merge. The ending made me hope for the next 'episode ' but I also hope after 2000+ pages that there end is in sight. Also sorry for your loss.
Outstanding! Multiple story lines going, excellent character development and believable action! What’s not to like? Plus extra bonus points for getting the military terms mostly right. Can’t wait for the next book!!!
I loved the end of this book. I love the whole thing and the whole series, but as the daughter of a First Class Special Staff Sergeant who spent most of my life going from base to base... Willis' discussion with Wood at the end of the book made me cry. I am so thankful for all of our service members and veterans as well as all of our first responders and law enforcement. To all those who run to what almighty everyone is running from, who stand the line prepared to sacrifice whatever is necessary to hold it so it doesn't reach the rest of us, from the bottom of my Army brat heart .. Thank you.
