Another All-Star player has been added to the team, just in time for Season 10. Fang Rui's personality fits right in. His shamelessness rivals Wei Chen's, and even Ye Xiu's, and he even takes pride in his dirty way of playing. His presence just makes Happy more threatening. Before he arrived, other teams, especially the powerhouses, only saw Ye Xiu and maybe Su Mucheng as the two players worthy of their attention. But now, with the addition of Fang Rui, everyone is finally taking Happy seriously as a whole team.
With another shameless person on the team, the interactions get even more chaotic and hilarious. I just loved the back-and-forth banter. Also, now that Ye Xiu is back in the Pro Alliance, we get to see more intense exchanges of trash talk and witty retorts between him and the other veteran pros from opposing teams. That was seriously one of my favorite parts of the whole novel—the playful and comical banter.
The next volume marks the start of intense competition for the new season, and I'm so here for it.
