I saw this book in my library while I was looking for more Italian books to read (since I'm having somewhat of a quiet week and I wanted to practice my Italian a bit more) and thought this would be the perfect Halloween read! It was pretty enjoyable, stayed very close to the original (as in, Shelley's original) and a quick read!

Dit is het eerste boek in de klassiekers reeks dat ik - voor zover ik me kan herinneren - heb gelezen en ik moet zeggen dat ik hem erg leuk vond!
Ik heb het originele verhaal van Frankenstein nog niet gelezen, maar dit is wel een heel leuk verhaal om laagdrempelig mee te beginnen en de levenslessen komen ook nog eens duidelijk naar voren. Daarnaast vullen de illustraties veel van de gaten uit de tekst goed aan en is het dus erg leuk om daar eens goed naar te kijken.
Wat iets minder fijn was om te lezen waren de definities van allerlei termen die in het verhaal zaten, dan heb ik liever dat je makkelijkere woorden gebruikt, omdat informatieve stukken tekst je uit de leesflow halen.
Verder dus zeker een aanrader!
