About the author

Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Back in 2017 I went to a festival of contemporary fantasy and horror literature by Cypriot writers.
As I was saying back then, I was sicked and tired of Cypriot literature repeating again and again the cliched and saturated themes of the 1950's EOKA Guerrilla against the British, and the 1970's Turkish Invasion.

Even in children's literature, where many stories take place in a fantasy world we see references to our occupied land and missing people.
For phuck's sake. Let your self free from this bondage.
Yea, they are important and tragic parts of our history but they restrict our imagination, our enjoyment of stories. Move on!

And this is what this festival is doing. Moving Cypriot Literature onwards!
Towards a new rarely touched part of literature, a part hated by elitists and people who read ''''serious''' literature. This part is none other than fantasy, horror, and science fiction; in other words genre fiction.

This is what happened in the first anthology of Cypriot fantasy literature. Fantastic writing. Stories that take you in a different world. Away from cliches.

But this second anthology was a disappointment. I felt that many stories were written only to be included in this collection.
To me they were like reheated food in the microwave.
Stale, bland, and uninspiring. . .

I wholeheartedly support this kind of work; collecting, anthologising, and promoting fantasy and horror stories from Cypriot writers

BUT

I feel that it can be done biannually instead.
To let the muse come and inspire the writers, rework their stories, make us wait, and it the end make us enjoy the stories.

I hope for the 3rd anthology to be better than this second one, and why not better than the first one.
