DOC OCK-TOBER STARTS HERE IN THIS SPIDER-GEDDON TIE IN! Doc Ock has set up shop as San Francisco’s protector, but you won’t believe his methods. Some of Otto Octavius’s new super hero strategies may make Spider-Man regret letting him free, but the good doctor swears that he’s the SUPERIOR OCTOPUS! Chistos Gage (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) and Mike Hawthorne (Deadpool) will change the way you look at super hero comics.
Didn’t really know what to except going into this, but I heard it was good. Can’t say I agree with that, to be honest. I want to read Spider-Man related comics but all of the recent ones I’ve tried just are not for me. But I’ve always enjoyed any cartoons with Spider-Man and the recent video game. Hopefully I’ll find one I like soon...
Back then, the Superior Spider-Man era, this was my shit. I loved it. So I couldn't not get this. Even though it's not Slott and it's Gage, I was being skeptical about it, cuz I love how Slott writes Doc Ock, BUT.. Gage does not disappoint. It builds up good, and makes you wanna read some more!
If you like Superior Spider-Man, you’ll like this. Favorite line from early on in the text: “Are we the good guys now?” “Who the hell knows these days?” I can’t help but think how appropriate this sentiment is only a few short years removed from this event.
Otto's back! Rejoice. A villain tries to be a hero. Mayhem ensues.
I simply love Otto Octavius' voice and I consider Superior Spider - Man series superior to most Spider-man arcs. I've been waiting for more Octavius and here it is. Both author and illustrator approached the project with passion and well needed distance.
Picked this up at my favorite comic shop while in Boston because the variant cover had giant old school Doc Ock on the cover. I screamed and threw money at the register. There's a ton of shit that's happened before this that I was not aware of but am very interested in reading. Personally, I like Ock best as a villain but this was definitely a fun twist.
Woooooow, conocer este spiderman que tanta intriga me daba me emocionó mucho, este mundo es una locura, sus villanos son invreibles y ese PLOOOOOOOTWIST, simplememte TAP

Great issue. I've been really looking forward to seeing Otto back at it again!
This story basically brought up most of the problems I see Superior critics constantly complain about from Otto's past, and addressed them. It was good of the issue to actually deal with these things. Anyway I hope people give him a chance.
