Sarah Ann McLachlan, OC, OBC is a Grammy-winning Canadian musician, singer and songwriter.

She is known for the emotional sound of her ballads. Some of her most popular songs include "Angel", "Building a Mystery", "Adia", "Possession", "Fallen", "I Will Remember You", and "World on Fire". As of 2006, she has sold over 26 million albums worldwide. Her best-selling album to date is Surfacing, for which she won four Juno Awards and two Grammy Awards. In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour, which showcased female musicians in the late 1990s.

I always love looking through this beautiful book, but alas, like Martha Stewart's recipes for this or that, I don't have exotic locales to buy exotic additions so I get phlebian bobo results. Writer's Block Oatmeal-Raisin Cookies were a delight though - exotic lovelies from a traveling exotic. This book was a gift and is a whimsy on my cooking shelf in my kitchen.
