In his latest installment, Pyrokardia voyages into the turmoils of love and heartbreak,of hope and despair. He weaves a tapestry of rage and loneliness and interwoven through it all is love to bring this tapestry of poems to love
“I'm going to write it all away every single shit I ever felt everything I'm ever going to feel the pains and the heartaches the happiness and the joys the loves and the hates write it all away until I feel nothing until there's nothing left to write and I've only got blank pages only then will I be finally alright” Cycle by Pyrokardia, the third book of Africa's bestselling author of a Beautiful Mess and Broken wishbone & Empty Spaces. This book is divided into four sections i.e. Sunrise,Noon, Sunset & Moon SUNRISE: First section started with a beautiful poem and damn, I was deeply mesmerized by this book from the very first page. The author spoke about the daily struggles of every other person, like the struggle of moving on after every hurdle, how after every failure we rise again.
In this section, the poet is continuously motivating us to live ou life and to never give up, no matter what. He's talking from both the gender's point of view and I really loved that. He's trying to say that no matter who you’re, you've got feelings. You'd get hurt. You'd want to cry. In our society men are not supposed to show weakness and Pyrokardia is simply trying to say that man have emotions too. NOON: The second section is about love. Pyrokardia is praising the one he loves, trying to tell what being loved or loving someone feels like. He expresses his love so eloquently with his beautiful words. Words that will leave you melting in a puddle. Words that will make you fall in love over and over again. This section debate about the love he have, that how he praises and admires his love and how he is completely in love with the love of his life. And there are even two sweet proposal poems!!!! SUNSET: Third section depicts how after every sunset you're surrounded by darkness, how everything fades to black. Similar to sunset love is fading in this section. Also in this section Pyrokardia has talked about his writing, about how he writes sad poetry even when he is in love. He is scared of breaking. He is talking about heartbreaks. MOON: This section is about missing a person. It depicts how you feel lonely even when you're surrounded by people. Because of that person you wanted to ignore the world around you, you only want the company of that one person you love. It's also about how scared a person can be to move on after the last heartache. How a person still want to be in the arms of the same person who broke his heart. OVERALL: Like I said before I immediately fell for this book. After each page i was completely in the awe. Pyrokardia conveys each message very deeply into the soul with his emotional and mesmerizing selections of words. Pyrokardia writes with so much deepness and intensity that it felt like he is talking to me. It was like he is giving words to our feelings, our thoughts. His poems were a beautiful collection of beautiful and thought provoking words. This book is written endlessly about love and courage and filled with genuine human emotions. This book just resonates through my entire soul. This collection is what I will call a guidebook to life or how to live your not so perfect life. Pyraokardia's collection is the type of poetry that most individuals can genuinely relate with. It is an out pour of authenticity, creativity and consistency. I feel like I don't have the right words to describe how amazing it was. I'd highly recommend this collection of poetry to everyone.
