Indispensable for a child of the 80s trying to learn new languages

When I was a kid, we got taught creative writing over grammar - which was all well and good, and as an avid reader my written English is still mostly very good. However, it does make it hard to learn grammar rules in new languages. I bought this book to help me on a whim (as a bit of a Dorling Kindersley addict anyway) and it’s wonderful! Nicely laid out, super clear - I love the colour coding and the various usages of jigsaw puzzle pieces to deconstruct sentences. Will help me enormous!!!

Note: I’m using the kindle edition on my iPad
