Armed with a new weapon, the crew of the Satori risk the voyage to a new world - the home of the Cyanauts, a race of beings enslaved by the Naga for their ability to telepathically translate languages. They hope to free the slaves, depriving the Naga of a powerful tool in the process. But freedom is not so simple as flipping a switch. Trust is earned, and the crew find themselves embroiled in controversy and danger. The Naga are not about to give up their servants without a fight, and would like nothing better than to get their hands on the human starship. The crew of the Satori must decide for themselves the value of liberty - theirs, the Cyanauts, and that of all humanity lie in the balance.

He writes fantasy in settings both historical and contemporary, and science fiction in both the near and distant future.
The continuing first contact story remains taut enough to keep the heart racing and the imagination cooking. Anxious to get to the next “chapter” in the saga.
Kindle Unlimited, his books are space opera to magical to sorta history to LitRPG, and pretty sure they are all available individually/through ku too. FYI, yes I do binge read writers, unless give them 1 or 2 stars and sometimes 3. Obviously not the case here. Look at amazon writer page. Want a rundown of plot? Look at blurb; want more, read reviews, actually just go to reading the books.

Another great ride from Mclaughlin starship Satori 5 Liberty, is a cover to cover rollercoaster ride of cliffhanger adventures yet again. The crew goes to the water planet where the sluglike symbiotes used and enslaved by the Naga are from in an attempt to return one and to free all the rest of them from their enslavement. Once again the crew tangle with the Naga in another epic battle, the remaining storyline is yours to enjoy. But trust me , you'll be hanging on the edge of you're seat. I read it in one sitting.
Another outstanding Starship Satori book! Evil aliens are turning up the heat!
Action and great characters abounding! Evil enemy aliens will stop at nothing to get their alien claws on 2 things, the Satori herself & the location of the earth! Can the brave crew of the Satori win the day?! Read this great story to learn the answers. You'll be very glad you did! Keep up the great work, Kevin! As for me, I'm going to start reading Book 6 immediately!
The adventure continues, this time the crew travels to the home world of the species who were enslaved by the Naga to be used as translators. Will the crew be well-received? This trip could be an advantage for the humans if they gain an ally but, the aliens could also be very dangerous , given their ability to read the thoughts of their hosts and exert control over them. As in previous novels, the writing is good and the story is fun and exciting. Now, on to the next one.
This installment was basically one short story, or rather, one short episode in a longer storyline. Our protagonists tried to return their aIien to its home, got caught up in another serious conflict with the Naga, but managed to regroup and return, safely. And then … We’re left with a hanging ending, instead of any solid resolution.
This was a fun read, yet so ridiculous as to be funny. I enjoyed to book very much, and look forward to the next book in the series. The way he is going there is room for at least 100 books. My only complaint is the books are to short.
The Starship Sartori series is an entertaining read, with characters you can really get in to. However, typos on nearly every page are a distraction. The author needs to do a better job of proof-reading his books.
I love this series! Kept me enthralled and nervous throughout, hooked from book 1 to 5! Awesome characters, Dan was superbly described in spite of his handicap,Kevin did a good job with him. Love the AI, and John is a wonderful person, they all are. Hope to get book 6!
The awesome saga continues with wonderful characters and a fantastic story line. Every time I think I have read the best book in this series the next one blows me away. If you like great space adventures you will love this series.
