Garfield is a guilty pleasure of mine...but I was NOT a fan of this. Totally my mistake though - this anthology features Garfield shorts by other writers/illustrators. It just wasn't for me.

It wasn't like the other Garfield books, but it's Garfield, so I have to like it

This book was ok. A couple of the stories I thought were pretty good but others were awful. Some I’ve read in other Garfield comic books before but some I had not read before. There was a story in here about the lasagna monster and I hate his stories. I think they’re pointless and not at all funny. The last story in this book Garfield and Jon didn’t look like they should which is always annoying. I don’t understand why they change the look of the characters so much for some of the stories. I think it just distracts from the stories. There was a Pet Force story in here which I also didn’t care for. I don’t think the Pet Force stories are ever done well. Overall this book was ok but there are much better Garfield books out there to read.

Oof! I think Garfield was meant to be read one comic strip at a time. And of the stories in this collection didn't even make any sense to my 6 year old son with an insane imagination.
