If you are looking for a gripping psychological thriller that has it all, this is the book for you. This book has plenty of twists and turns and offers a glimpse into the darker side of the armed forces and policing out of the public gaze – by someone who knows. Written cleverly and in short chapters, you’ll struggle to put the book down until you finish it.
When a bi-lateral government ordered an assassination of a couple prominent Afghan Elders goes spectacularly tits up, three of the six-man mercenary team are killed, two escape and on Ex-SAS trooper Alex Langdan is captured and held hostage by the Taliban.
Now three years on, Alex has finally gained his freedom along with a new identity. Now he is hell-bent on seeking revenge on those that broke the unwritten rule “never leave a man behind".

I’ve read several books from p t Saunders. This one is slightly different to the others as it’s fiction but also if you’ve read other books from this author then you can tell where he’s pulled facts into the story and drawn from his own experience. It’s a story that grips you, an amazing physiological thriller that leaves you wanting more and finishes on a cliff hanger. I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens. It would make an amazing film. A truly brilliant author

Grammar

Good story but left hanging at the end which is very disappointing. Whoever typed this book could do with more than a little lesson on spelling etc

This book needs a proof reader. Riddled with spelling errors, capital letters mid sentence and altogether improper sentences.

Luckily the story is pretty good.
