This is the second book in the Stalker series by Lane Parker who is a talented new author. Normally I like to wait until the series is completed before I start reading it but this time I dived right in. This was an excellent start to the series and I’m anxious to see where it goes. The book starts four years ago with Katie Riley graduating from high school as valedictorian. Her beloved mother recently died and her father was a POS who has been absent for most of her life. She thinks she’s all alone in the world but she has no idea he’s been watching her and he has plans to protect her and keep her safe. FAST FORWARD FOUR YEARS : Katie is back in Florida at her stepmother’s house for her dad’s funeral reception. After her dad left her mom he married a very wealthy woman and lived a life she knew nothing about. Before she went away to college in Massachusetts she received a brand new phone which she assumed was from her dad. There was one contact already in the phone ; “stalker” which she still thought was her dad. She also thought her dad was paying her expenses that her scholarship didn’t cover and depositing a monthly allowance into her account. She has two stepbrothers, Ian and Ben Blackwood, she’s only met Ben and he’s always been nice to her. When she decides to stay in Florida Ben offers for her to stay at Ian’s guesthouse because he’s in Europe. During the funeral reception she has a bit too much to drink so she goes outside to get some air. She gets pulled into the boathouse by a stranger who makes her feel things she’s never felt and she ends up losing her virginity. She never even sees the man’s face but she feels safe with him as he reassures her she’s not alone and she does have someone that cares about her. She’s angry and confused when she finds out her dad wasn’t the one who bought her the phone and paid her expenses. I don’t wanna say anything else because you should definitely read this for yourself. I thought I knew who Stalker was but now I think it’s someone else and I can’t wait for the conclusion.

Omg!!!! I feel so on edge!! I know this whole thing is a little weird considering he’s her stalker but I can’t help but get excited about the unknown. I freaking love the writing style ms. Parker has which leaves you just wanting more and more after each chapter.

Stalker is such a mystery...on one hand I feel like I know who it is but then something small makes me believe I’m wrong. I love that he has such passion for Kate (Katie), even if it is obsessive. She doesn’t have anyone else and even though it’s a little twisted I am glad he is watching over her.

Katie does everything I think of doing and I’m sitting on the edge on my seat waiting to see what happens when the door closes!!! Like ah!!!!! I can feel the desire to know her stalker in each thought she has about him. It seems so wrong but every time it just feels right, like how it’s suppose to be.

I love this idea that Ms. Parker has to do this series!! I am just waiting eagerly to the next clue to find out who Stalker is or what is next for Katie. Congrats on this freaking killer idea!!!

Part Two in Dearest Stalker series by Lane Parker/J. S. Scott.
Katie finds out the her mobile school cost have all been paid by her ‘Stalker’ and starts messaging him and getting very one liners back. Kate says going through people to try figure get who is her ‘Stalker’
When ‘Stalker’ finds out Kate thinks her money’s come from her father. he breaks her heart and tells her it’s from ‘Stalker’.
He turns up in middle of night but Kate wakes up with a blindfold on and then he ties her up and has he sexy way with her.
‘Stalker’ is very reluctant for kate to see who he is which keeps me totally hooked, desperately wanting to who if it her stepbrother or her jock high school friend. Which were given clues in this book

The story continues and pretty much picks up from where it was left in Book1. Kate is desperate (as I am ) to get the answers she needs in order to reveal the identity of her stalker. At the same time, Lane, in a very cleverly way, has introduced us to new possibilities of who this person might be. Currently, I am still clueless, is like with any suspenseful movie where anyone is still can be the POI and Ms. Parker delivers this in a flawless way. Hotter, more passionate and even more mysterious, Dearest Stalker Part 2 has me on the edge of my seat and impatiently waiting for the next Instalment. The series continues with Kate still not having any idea who her stalker is but trying everything she knows how to do to find out. She has it down to two possibilities, but she isn't sure of either of them. She's lonely, confused and finally decides to try and get some answers from her stalker, maybe he'll let some little bit of information slip, maybe. He comes to her in the cover of night, takes her and makes her soar. But it's his revelations of the support that she has received that has her reeling and a bit angry. But then she realizes that at least someone cared enough about her to take care of her.

But she still does not know who he is. He leaves her bed just as he arrived into it. Under dark and quietly. Alone again, her mind begins wandering again. She can't let there be a next time. She needs to let this go. Ben is again talking to her about working for their company and finally relenting, she goes for the interview and takes the test that is meant to weed out the incompetent.

I for one think I know who her stalker is, but then, authors have been known to twist the story around until you realize you have missed the mark by a mile, so we shall see.

I am totally engrossed in this series and I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Intriguing, exciting, mysterious, hot and definitely well written, you will be captured by this story from the first page of the very first book. The mystery of it all will definitely keep you coming back for more. I highly recommend this 5 star read!

Things are beginning to clear up now. At first I wanted Been to be the mystery guy but Katie really needs that brotherly relationship she never had and he's perfect for that.

This is part two in the series and I have a pretty good guess who rhe stalker is. Katie is trying so hard to find out who is stalking her, but has no luck. I think a part of her is falling in love with him. Random texts and late night visits these two have me rooting for them. Continue to read and find out what happens.

Dearest stalker is heating up!

Katie is determined to find herself a job and to forget about the man who makes her feel alive and beautiful. She doesn’t know anything about him, not his name, or his face but she is obsessed with trying to uncover more about him. On the plus side, Ben - her stepbrother, is trying to convince her to interview for their company and to take the entry exam😀

Things are definitely heating up and I’m hoping my initial instinct of who the stalker is, is correct! On to part three now😍

As things start coming together for Katie with the help of her step brother Ben she needs answers from her mysterious stalker. A large amount of money is deposited into her checking account from stalker which Katie tries everything she can to figure out his identity, to the point of obsession. She wants the bank to return it but stalker won't accept it. She is becoming more confused about her feelings for her mysterious benefactor.
Her best friend and Ben are her only friends but she can't tell them everything about stalker. As she is thinking about all he's done for her she makes a bold decision to visit Ian to meet him and thank him for his hospitality. As you would expect from a recluse he was less than thrilled to see her.

I devoured this second book and it picks us up right where book one left us. I am glad it did that but now to figure out this mystery.
Kate wants to know more about her stalker I mean hello they had sexy time so why not? But he isn't giving up much of anything. He does, however, come in through the window and gives her yet again mind-blowing sexy time.
Who is he?
OMG... Can I please have more already.
Who is the stalker?
I am beginning to get an idea but not quite sure...
Grab your copy of book one and then enjoy... I would say for sure you have to read these in order.

Kate’s story continues as she desperately wants to know who her “stalker” is. The man that makes her feel wanted and not alone in the world. Even with all her computer programing skills Kate still can’t find anything on her mystery man. (I struggle calling him a stalker because, like Kate, he doesn’t seem like he wants to harm her, he just wants to stay in the shadows).

Kate wants answers and demands them. Stalker comes to her, under the cover of the nights darkness. Blindfolded so she can’t see him and with hands tied so she can’t feel, once again their passion soars. They do talk but when the morning light comes, Kate is more confused and angry. He claims to want her and to make her his but yet he refuses to tell her anything about him or come out of the shadows. So Kate decides she must move on and she starts to take charge of things in her life, with the help of her BFF and her step brother.

The twist and turns will keep you on your toes and guessing. Guessing what Kate will do next in her life as well as who “Stalker” is. While I think I know, authors have a way of leading our minds one way while the reality of the story ends up a whole different direction. Either way, this is an amazing adventure. We are not only as desperate as Kate to find out who “Stalker” is, but we want to find out how this strong, independent young ladies life turns out.

I highly recommend this series. If you haven’t picked up Dearest Stalker, part 1; grab it up and get started now, along with part 2. These are short reads but very exciting, suspenseful and well written. Kudos to the author for a thrilling ride, and this reader Can’t Wait for part 3.

Kate finds out a few things about her father. Kate finds out more about her two step brothers. So, this short story gives more information, but still doesn't tell who "Stalker" is. It tells us a few who he ISN'T. My hopes are the author doesn't drag this out in to many books, even as short as these are.

After just a week I had part 2 in my hands and I was very excited to read more about this two-character as my curiosity to find out how the stalker is was driving me crazy.
This part was just as exciting and intriguing as the first book, still grabbing me in to know who the stalker is and to find out if Katie will find happiness and love. I am sure I have picked the stalker out but I am hoping the author will give us a few twists and turns the next two book, and make me completely wrong. This is a very captivating mystery story with a hot and sexy stalker that will warm your heart. I highly recommend this book that I received as an ARC that I have decided to write my honest and voluntary review of.

Katie, just can't walk away from trying to find out who her stalker is, she has done everything in her power to try and find out who he is. She has come to two choices as to who he may be. What will he do when she contacts him again and tells him she is feeling lonely?

He claims to want her to keep her safe, to make her his but he refuses to share any personal information with her. Kate decides she must move on from the new obsession with her stalker so she starts to take charge of her life, with the help of her best friend and her stepbrother. Ben offers her a job again but will she take it this time around?

This second book in the serial picks up where the first left off with Kate trying to figure out the identity of her stalker - something that's proving more and more difficult. The story is told primarily from Kate's perspective with the exception of a small portion where we get the stalker's view. We do get a few clues about who he is and Kate is able to eliminate some possibilities. Of course, new possibilities come on the hills of those eliminations. Granted, one possibility seems to fit perfectly, but at this stage of the story, I have to wonder about red herrings. We do see Kate begin to finally take control of her life as she works to shake off the insecurities about her father, but this is just the second part of a four part story, so don't expect too many answers here. The story is still just as compelling, and I'm already thinking about re-reading the two parts together to see if there's a clue I may have missed. All in all, the suspense is excellent, the characters are interesting, and we even get some steamy goodness along the way.

So this is Part 2 in the Dearest Stalker series, which means YOU MUST READ Part 1 FIRST! Since they are so short, each part seems to add one more thing to the plot. Normally a story this short will get 4 stars from me, but I felt like I got more in this part despite the shortness. See, Katie Riley hasn't had the easiest life, so while she was working hard to better her situation in life, she acquired a stalker. But not your typical stalker, like the serial killer kind, or maybe he is? That's the thing, I don't know, but Katie can't help her reaction to him, and while he won't reveal himself, she's hooked up with again because of their insane chemistry. However, on the flip side, she's trying to figure out who he is. So there's plenty of twists & turns, as we got a clue or two more, maybe? Yeah that's right, there's all kind of maybe's that have me all in because I need to know how this all pans out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The second instalment of Dearest Stalker was just as captivating and intriguing as the last, if not more so. Following Katie as she slowly lets down her emotional barriers and lets her step brother into not only her life, but heart too.

For me, I missed the Stalker POV...he was there for small parts but quiet for the most part.

She deserved a hell of a lot more than a brown man who had to function like a regular person on the outside while I was everything but normal on the inside.

Having started to piece together by the end of this story, the big question of “who” our dearest Stalker night be comes to light....well, maybe!

The end left me high and dry and I sincerely hope that part 3 will see a dramatic crescendo for Katie/“his Kate”.

This one!!!! First if I KNEW IT!!!! I knew it was going to end up being him that was Stalker/Mystery Man...
I just want to say this, had I not known going into these books that they were written by J.S. Scott writing under this pen name then I would have been either noting the similar writing style or wondering which one I like better. Thankfully for me they are one in the same, and I can say that this woman is one of my top 3 go to authors to read.

This book brings me back to what I loved about her other books...particularly The Billionaire’s Obsession. This book has the same feel to it as that book.

I must dive right into the next part!!! I’m hooked!!!

Part two is as interesting if not more as part one. We still don't know who is the said stalker and I hope we will find out by end of part 3 so we can explore their relationship without any secrets between them and guesses. Our heroine interacts with her unknown admirer a lot considering the situation and she is also trying to find who he is. A lot of men enter her life at the same time so she is thrown into a lot of different directions. I want her to find the answer soon. The serials so far are good and I hope I won't be disappointed in the end.
