not as good as the others in the series, but still worth a read

So, this book is part of the Woodsman series of books… it follows on from Breanna and Ryder’s story and we do meet them in this book… but unlike other series and even the first two books… this book can be read as a standalone. You don’t need to have read the previous two stories because they are mentioned only briefly.

I do like these more rugged alpha men and Roman Sayers is definitely the rugged, hot mountain man with that gruff and rough exterior but a melty, sweet heart underneath that just needs to find the right person to unleash it. He’s a man who has been through a lot. He’s lost all his family and has adapted his life to that loneliness. When his friends plane crashes near his home, using his army ranger skills, he sets out to help with the search and rescue.

That’s when he meets Lexi. A young, sexy and strong-willed park ranger. There’s an instant spark but of course, neither of them act on it and keep to the task in hand. When a freak accident sees Lexi incapacitated, they end up in a cosy rangers cabin and let’s just say… lust takes over.

Together they are hot, hot, hot… but they’ve both been through so much loss and heartache that they shield their own hearts from further hurt and try to deny their feelings.

This is a real push and pull romance. Fighting the urge but giving in to the lust. Roman just needs to accept that life goes on and that he needs to live it.

I did enjoy this book, and it’s worth a read… but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the other two stories. The characters are great and i loved them as a couple… but I just thought it lacked a little something in comparison to the others. I also didn’t like the abrupt ending. Felt unfinished and like the writer ran out of steam or maybe time. If there’s a fourth book… I hope we meet these two again. I want to know where their story went.

This book was just outstanding, I am left without words to describe how amazing this book was and left wanting more of Lexi and Roman (I was not ready for the book to end).

Just his name alone is enough to make anyone want to read this book, I mean it just kind of rolls off your tongue, Roman. Roman has not had the best life, his story broke my heart and had me wanting to take him in my arms and comfort him), and Lexi with just having lost her dad aka her best friend, their brokenness is what brings them together and makes this a very emotional read with a little bit if mystery and suspense thrown in for good measure.

This book was such an emotional roller coaster for me and I am hoping that the author will give his another book about Roman and Lexi as I feel their story is not yet finished.

These characters are both very guarded and used to relying on no one. But that changes when circumstances have them stuck together. What better way to pass the time... bow chicka bow wow! The attraction is there from the beginning (with some very hot moments in between) but they are also really good together, working as a team and knowing what the other needs. Besides desire you will also read a lot of appreciation and respect between Roman and Lexi. They have both lost important people in their life so they will form a bond from it. But more than anything their bond gets stronger as they work together with the goal of stopping some poachers. So besides having some steamy chemistry you can expect some exciting action that comes with the job.

This is a sweet and sexy love story. Roman has all but isolated himself except for his one friend Cass. When Cass is in a plane crash, Lexi, a park ranger, reluctantly agrees to take Roman to help look for her. Roman was an Army Ranger so knew what he was doing even if Stilwell, Lexi's nemesis, didn't know that. Lack of communication on Roman's part nearly tears them apart, but thanks to Cass, Roman is given another chance. A mystery solved, peace found and a happy ending are all found in this story.

I loved this story of Lexi and Roman. This was an amazing addition to this series. Two completely different people, Roman a recluse has but one friend and when she is in trouble he reaches out to Lexi for help to find her. These two are like oil and water, they don’t mix well at all, but all that aside, there just might be some hope for them yet. Miscommunication and other obstacles stand in the way, but can they move past it to be together? No spoilers here, I guess you will have to grab this one to find out for yourselves. Lexi and Roman, my goodness they could cause a whole forest to go up in flames with their chemistry. Even though the story is a quick read it is beautifully written and oh so good. There is some drama, action, suspense, and of course hot romance throughout the entire story. As I have already mentioned Lexi and Roman have great chemistry, but they also have fantastic personalities and banter between them. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

Park rangers can make the grade

Lexi is working in a male dominated environment. Not many women handle being out in all kinds of weather conditions day after day. It’s all she has ever wanted to do and now she is trying to keep it despite the problems that have arisen.

Roman is dealing with the death of his brother , his parents and flashbacks from serving in the army. Now he has to deal with an even bigger issue of a plane crash and the park ranger whose presence is stirring up things that he left buried a long time ago.

One snow storm will begin to cause an avalanche.

Roman keeps to himself and that's just the way he likes it. His friend Cass is coming to town and he's picking her up from the airport. But, he hears on his way to the airport that her plane has disappeared. And so begins, this sweet, hot, amazing story of Roman and Lexi, the park ranger.

Will they find Cass in time, if she survived the crash? Will the sparks between Roman and Lexi explode? Great story! Loved the characters!!

Fantastic.

The storyline was perfect and kept me thoroughly intrigued with Roman and Lexi. Humor and sorrow were accompanied with sexy time that was off the charts hot.

M. S. Parker’s work just gets better and better. This book, although part of a series, can be read as a complete standalone!

Lexi and Roman irritate each as soon as they meet! But the tables turn after they have to spend the night the woods! Feelings, misunderstandings and reality set into place as these two get to know each other and become vulnerable with one another.

Lexi is the park ranger in the Rocky mountain national park. Roman is ex army and full of scars who preferred to be alone. When these two meet in a search and rescue mission, they have an immediate connection, highly attracted and annoyed with each other. When they finally admit their feeling towards each other and start working together they are truly perfect for each other.

I went through a range of emotions reading this book, I wanted to really hurt Stilwell and wanted Hawthorne to hurry up and come to the conclusion that all was not as Stilwell made it out to be. Lexi was a bit confused by Roman she jumped to the wrong conclusion about him. She was determined to expose Stilwell to the rangers for what she suspected he was doing. Another absolutely wonderful book by one of my favorite authors! I one click everything this amazing woman writes. This was no exception. Loved it all. The storyline never fell flat and held my attention from the first page. These characters are awesome and I can't wait to read another book from this author! Truly spectacular writing!!

I loved this standalone romance. Lexi and Roman are each suffering from losses that they have let their personal lives go. Fate and an idiot push them together and their chemistry is off the charts.
M.S. Parker is a great storyteller. She writes steamy romance with a bit of suspense. Lexi and Roman will suck you into their world.

The good fight together too win not only the day.

Lexi and Roman meet when a plane he has hired goes down over the mountain she patrols as a warden. During the search Lexi gets her foot in a trap left by illegal hunters and so their lives begin together. This sounds simple, but it's full of action and adventures. This book is a good read.

Lexi and Roman’s connection is undeniable. Although they tried to deny it by the bickering back and forth, their spark was too strong to ignore. Once they admitted to themselves and each other, they were a force to be reckoned with and their enemies didn’t stand a chance

This is the third book in the series it can be read as a stand-alone. Great read. No cliffy.

Loved this series, it has just enough of everything. Action, romance, dam good story. Well written of course, this author always delivers. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but if you read more than 1, the order I have read is the way to go. Enjoy people, I certainly did

First and foremost, the heat level on this story is H.O.T! I thought the story was plausible and had enough drama to keep it interesting. I appreciated the dual POV so that you could get both sides of the story.

Another great read from one of my favorite authors. Roman is not a social person so he keeps to himself but when his friends plane becomes missing , he wants to help in the search. He is teamed up with Lexi and sparks fly. I was hooked from the start. A must read.

It was ok, what I didn't like was the portrayal of Lexi... she was weak and didn't stand up for herself, and the prologue was what?? Really, a dream like that? I enjoy this authors books, but this was not one of them!

Another great series by author M. S. Parker. The story line is very different than other books. Really enjoyed the connect between the characters. So steamy! Would recommend this series
